Pavica, our host, was simply amazing. Warm and welcoming, she made us feel at home immediately. Welcome drink and homemade apple pastry on arrival, pleasant conversation (despite the language barrier), and she even gave us a ride to our wine tasting venue because we were running a bit late. The bedroom is simple, and fairly small, but the bed is comfortable and the AC works well. The bathroom is across the hall, but it is private. There is only a tub with a shower wand, but it is adequate. These items are fair given the price, but if you are looking for an upscale 5-star luxury hotel stay at a vineyard, then do that. This is a homestay, and it is a fabulous one at that. Everything was super clean. Free parking right outside the building. Wifi was strong. The breakfast was amazing! Eggs, bread, various spreads, meats (including the local kulen) and cheeses, and good coffee, all made to order by our wonderful host. If you're headed to Ilok and are looking for a nice, comfortable stay with a friendly host, by all means book this room.
