Posedarje is in the vicinity of 2 great hikes - canyons of Bijela and Karišnica, as well as Karin climbing area. For culture lovers, there are 2 must see places: Church of Holy Spirit in Posedarje, Miodrag fortress above Karin and Church of Holy Martin in Pridraga.

We choose this area as a peaceful haven away from the crowds to end our 10 day trip to Croatia where we already had nights in (i) seaside hotel in Dubrovnick, (ii) Bosnia Herzogovine for 24 hours and (iii) city located in Split. Posedarje was chosen as a base for our daily excursions by hired car and for its proximity to the sea front plus the hotel's beauty and simplicity. Posedarje village was not somewhere we wished to stay in; it is nice for a short visit - however the location of our hotel was perfect as mentioned before. 20 minutes drive to Zadar, 20 minutes drive to the airport, never too far by private car for visiting all the wonderful sites within 150 km radius.

Very nice small town, quiet, perfect place for relaxing but has everything we needed. There is a small market where I could buy local olive oil, some vegetables and fruit as well. Restaurants are very nice. I was happy that there was a playground for the kids as well.

The quality of the swimming pool and heated water left nothing else to wish for. We initially booked the apartment for one night, then decided to extend the booking for further 8 nights. A large supermarket is only 800 meters away - i.e. no real need to drive unless bulk shopping.AmberBelgium

We got an unexpected gift of fresh vegetables and pancakes with chocolate upon arrival. A special thanks to the lady who lived on the ground floor and who gave us baskets of vegetables and figs from her garden during our stay. She presented us a small souvenirs with lavender when we leave. There is a wonderful beach Tri Drage, which is worth visiting. We spent a really great time in Posedarje !

The on-site restaurant makes the life easy, as Hotel Lucija is located not in Posedarje. The foods are tasty, not really expensive ones. The hotel has a little, separate beach.

We've enjoyed a barbecue and hot tub, these two were a huge bonus. Posedarje itself is rather small and quiet, nothing to be excited about. It was good to have the bakery and the market near the place.
