Maro world was great for our 3-year old kid and offered plenty of entertainment throughout the day. The food at the pool restaurant was delicious and the staff very friendly. The room was nice and clean and spacious enough for a family of 3. Great to have the possibility to use the facilities of the other Valamar Hotels next to ours. Very easy public transport access to the old town, but would recommend to get up early as the bus gets full later. The promenade offers a lovely walk with lots of restaurants. I would come again as it is great for kids.
Hotel Bozica is peacefully situated on the Island of Šipan, 9 nautical miles from the port of Dubrovnik, bridged by 4 daily boat lines. It offers free Wi-Fi.

The village only has one restaurant and the nearest shop is in Zaton around 5km away, so it's good if you have your transport. Buses to Dubrovnik pass around once an hour. The harbour and arboretum are well worth a visit, but there is a better beach on the isle of Lopud opposite (accessible by boat).

Trsteno is a small village with a restaurant at the top of...
Trsteno is a small village with a restaurant at the top of the hill, an arboretum lower down - which is well worth a visit, it's beautiful - and a harbour where you can swim, at the bottom of the hill ! Outside the arboretum are two local stalls selling home made jams/jelly, dried figs, herbs and Olive oil - a really authentic taste of Trsteno. Most of this area of Croatia is very hilly with steep walks to beaches and into Dubrovnik, Trsteno is the same, so be prepared for that. We hired a car but there are buses on the main road to Dubrovnik and also to beaches such as Slano. There are plenty of shops on the main road as well as coves and bays where you can swim - most of the beaches are small and pebbly but the water is clear and the beaches are clean. Most beach parking is free. Trsteno is ideally placed for swimming, beaches, restaurants, Dubrovnik and the arboretum. It is very peaceful and the apartment we stayed in was surrounded by nature and very quiet.
Everything you need; peace and quiet, a very comfortable bed, great shower and a lovely warm welcome.
The property is located in a secluded valley that runs down to Trsteno.
As well as Svjetlana and Nikša, there are other family members around to help if needed. You are made to feel very welcome and part of the family.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything of high quality.
The balcony is the perfect place to sunbathe, or watch some amazing sunsets.
Our hosts, Maja and Anita, are wonderful and super kind people. Everything was nicely provided for us ahead. Though it is a hilly location we didn't have to bother about our luggage! Peace, private sphere, simple but neat appartment in a beatiful garden is a wonderful place for a holiday. A small village with sea and hills near Arboretum with tactful hosts was a perfect 5 in 1 paradise for rest and recovery. Thank you so much Maja and Anita!
Everything was great for us: the pool, the sea view and the villa were delightful. We enjoyed the family house decoration and the great areas for eating outside. The location is peaceful and relaxing. The owners are friendly, hospitable and helpful. There is a small supermarket close by and buses link to Dubrovnik and along the coast, roughly hourly. We hope to return.
A little slice of heaven tucked into the Adriatic hillside. Fresh home grown strawberries awaited us in the fridge and this set the tone to our stay. So peaceful and relaxing. A memory to treasure. Dawn chorus from arboretum was amazing. Loved this stay.
We came here for a quick sleep during our visit to the Dubrovnik-Neretva area. We wanted to see the Arboretum, and the location is as perfect as could be. Host was accommodating and helpful. There are probably some nice beaches nearby too!
Great host!
Very warm welcome, with cold beer included, as well as salad with products from her garden and home made chocolate cake:)
