Nice, clean hotel with good location for walking.
Food is OK, but nothing special. Classic selection.
We were there during Umag Trophy and they managed it very good. There were hundreds of kids, but everything went smooth.
Residence Garden Istra Plava Laguna will undergo a complete renovation and improvement, both of the accommodation capacities and the common areas in the building.
Located only 30 metres from the beach, Villa Rosetta in Savudrija provides guests with deckchairs and beach towels.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your hotel. The hotel is of the highest standard, the rooms and the view from them are the best I have ever seen. The gentlemen from the reception and the restaurant made every effort to make your stay at the hotel unforgettable. I recommend the best hotel in Selka.

matrass quality was not that good to sleep on a day before a big ultra run, and for the days to recover.
room temperature was also way to high around 24 25 °C while it was much cooler outside. even with the windows open it wouldnt cool down, and the air circulation system did not work while windows were closed.

Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets.
Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets. A few beaches nearby. Amazing restaurant strip on the seashore. Family friendly activities during the day. Day trips by boat to see dolphins. Friendly locals. A few older churches and bell tower, all free to visit. Not bustling, more of a relaxed vibe. Gorgeous views of the sea. A great day trip, or to stay for 2-3 nights. Bring a car but be prepared to pay for hourly parking by the sea as street parking is difficult (1.5 euro/hr, 31 euro 24 hrs).

During September there are lots of clothing shops with "on sale" signs for lovely Italian ladies clothing. Lots of tennis facilities, modern supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops and great beaches!

Unfortunately we had terrible weather so our experience is not indicative of the norm. Umag appears to be the ideal place for families and tennis players. Lots of recreational activities (snorkeling, playing courts, rental for jet skis, ATVs etc.). There are walking & cycling paths along the built-up parts of the coastline from Katoro to Umag, but these are very crowded. There is a lot of bustle (and traffic) in the area even though there is a "mini train" to get around the various resorts. This is the place to go with other people to do stuff outdoors, and not to seek peace and quiet.

It's a good place for couples, but I'm glad I didn't bring my kids. Most beaches are super rocky and are not developed for families. Could use more varied cuisine, but pretty area and close to many wonderful wineries and olive oil makers. Locals are friendly. One resort seems to own the whole town and is obnoxiously big and intrusive

Umag is a very nice and small place, so you can go anywhere by walk. Prices in restaurants are totally fair. I’m suggesting you to visit Sea Star Festival, one of the biggest in that part of Croatia. Prices in stores are way too high.
What a stay!
This was definetly our best Booking expirience so far.
Fantastic Marina as our host was more than welcoming. She waited us with open arms, big smile, Istrian's homemade cookies, domestic rakija and bottle of vine.
Apartmant is a brand new. Perfectly clean with all amenities that you need.
Bed and sheets were like you are sleeping in haven.
Marina thought about every single detail.
We will remember this stay for very long and definetly go back if the road take us to Umag again.
The location of the studios is perfect for exploring umag. I wasn’t traveling with a car and could easily walk to the seafront, harbor and all the old town and restaurants are on your doorstep. The hotel is on the main town square so you feel in the center of everything.
Studio was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a short stay. The aircon was a relief with the hot weather.
The owners are super accommodating and friendly. I’d definitely come back and stay here again.
The hosts are very friendly, they speaks croatian, italian and germain. There was a small problem with our booking, but it was handled flexibly and resolved promptly. The accomodation is well equiped, super clean and it is not so far from Umag. The most closest beach is about 10 minutes by car. Valica is a quiet village, there is not any shops. There is a restaurant, but not always open, maybe because of it was the end of august. If you want peace and quiet, I recommend it.
I had an excellent stay at Villa Istriana. Daniela is a very kind & welcoming host, and all the staff were very friendly. It was one of the most welcoming hotels I have ever been to. The dinner, with the fresh fish of the day, was amazing. The room was very clean and it had a sauna & jacuzzi. The location of the hotel was also great, a short drive away from the beach and Umag city center. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great location, near everything, with cafes and restaurants next door. Free parking. Great view from apartment. Luxury furniture and amenities. Comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Friendly host. Our daughter had a little accident at the beach, and the host, who’s also a medical doctor, helped us immediately and with no extra charge. We found our new favorite place in Umag.
placed a few km from the center of Umag Croatia, allows you to enjoy a quiet surrounding, plenty of space to park and a short drive to the highlights in the peninsula of Istria. The owners of the house were more than willing to help and make our stay comfort not to mention the best breakfast we had along our two weeks trip in Slovenia-Croatia for the cheapest cost!
The location of this room was perfect..right across the road from the promenade and halfway between Umag and Stella Maris. The owners, Toni and Linda, couldn't have been nicer and responded quickly when I messaged them. The walking shower was a treat after using many tiny shower stalls on this trip.
One of the best apartments I stayed in Croatia last years, very clean, and all needed amenities in place. Perfect location, close to the center as well as to the beach. I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Rosi. The host was very nice and helpful.
Thank you for your hospitality Marina :)
Location was nice. The suites were a bit small but comfortable although the pulled out couch for my 8 years old daughter was absolutely terrible. Very uncomfortable!
The buildings and common areas were well kept, and we also enjoyed the kids pool/slides area.
Walking distance to center (5 minutes). Free parking places 200m away. Very spacious rooms. Fully equipped kitchen although red wine glasses missing 😀
Very responsive and polite owner. No elevator but it is only 2 floors over ground. A solid 10 for this price.
Great location, lots of tennis courts in front of the hotel. Close to main Umag tennis court.
Room was perfectly OK but nothing to be to excited about. Good food at the restaurant. OK swimming pool area but again - nothing to fancy.
Our stay here was absolutely delightful! Daniel (the host) was always present, available, and helpful with everything. The breakfast was so good and the coffee, oh the coffee! Everything was A-list and absolutely wonderful! 10/10
Nice, clean hotel with good location for walking.

We were there during Umag Trophy and they managed it very good. There were hundreds of kids, but everything went smooth.
Nice hotel in an excellent location, close to the seashore. Great private beach just 200m from the hotel, and very nice pools. Nice clean rooms. Tasty and quality food in the restaurant. Great choice of dishes.
Location of hotel, hotel facilities and cleanliness.
Great room with excellent balcony giving views over the beach.
Car parking, excellent restaurant.
Near to Umag and not far from some great restaurants
