The tranquillity I've never found in Bali. Only a few villas but full of it owns character. You just need a book, a drink, it brings you back to the childhood memories. Simple the best.

This world would be a better place, if there could be more families like this one. We felt welcomed immediately. You feel like an old friend from years back. Nice talks, lovely hikes and superb food from the garden. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge.
Highly recommended! Please visit this place!

It's a really beautiful small village, the people are super friendly and lots of places to visit. The home stay is comfortable with a really nice big bed and one of the biggest bed covering mosquito nets I've ever seen, which was a life saver as the property isn't fully closed and it rained during some of the days.
The breakfast was really nice and in the garden, I would just have to sit outside reading a book, enjoying the garden and it would arrive super quickly. Thank you!
Home owner was really helpful, and replied very quickly to my many messages! Thank you for recommending the beautiful walk down the rice fields, felt super safe walking around on my own and everyone I met was helpful.
A 3 km drive from the scenic rice terraces of Jatiluwih, Sang Giri - Mountain Glamping Camp offers a peaceful retreat in the middle of nature.

The sunrise over there is the most beautiful ever. The tents, beds, day beds are awesome. There are bath robes and little amenities and it’s just in the middle of nature, you can really relax.

Everything was amazing! The staff are so welcoming, helpful and warm. The food was all freshly prepared with love. The breakfast overnight oats was delicious.
So nice to wake up two mornings in the tranquility of the rice paddies and be able to step in and walk about there.
I had a massage and it was also so great.
The swimming pool was perfect for a dip after trekking the rice paddies. But no need to even go to Jatiluweh as the rice paddies at the hotel are so beautiful
Thanks to Ellen and her team for a beautiful stay.

I really had an amazing time here! The setting and location is beautiful, it quiet, scenic, and peaceful. The staff was super nice, helpful, and very accommodating to our needs. Although our stay was short, it was really relaxing to enjoy the cool breeze and the view of the rice fields and mountain. It is quite a walk to Jatiluwih but managable and you could rent a motorcycle if you wanted. Walking around the property is also nice to enjoy in the late afternoon. I would love to comeback and stay here again!
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access.
The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc.
The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while.
He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

The region of Jatiluwih is known for the beautiful rice fields. You really have to make a tour through these rice fields by walking. We did the bicycle tour, but without electric bike this is not recommended, because of the very hilly course at the end.
We drunk a cup of nice Balinese coffee and ate a delicious pineapple pancake in the village and we noticed that everyone there is nice, helpful and relaxed. We love this place!

Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat.
Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat. Plenty of organic fruits to eat. You can laze around and visit places at your own pace. No other mode of transportation than renting a car, though. Would have love to have a local public transport.

Beautiful rice terraces with well-signed walking paths that let you enjoy them thoroughly. There are a number if restaurants with a great view over the rice terraces. I chose the pricier one called Gong Jatiluwih. The food was very nice and the view excellent. The place also has an ATM

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area.
Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area. Very good walking and cycling on tourist paths around terraces. Could see the well maintained water irrigation systems in action.
Walked up the hill round the corner from the rice terraces to the temple at the top of the villages and then found the trekking path and trekked through the forest to the top of Mount Batakaru that is Bali's second highest mountain.
Area is therefore very good for rice terrace views and mountain trekking.
We loved our stay at Kubu d'ume so much! Putu is an amazing host and at the first day he organized a tour to the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, a beautiful waterfall, hotspring and temple. The next morning we walked with Putu through the ricefields next to the homestay and it was so beautiful! He told us a lot about the different kind of fruits and spices. We had such an amazing stay! P.s. his wife made us a delicious dinner. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you so much Putu for giving is an amazing time at your homestay
Just amazing. The place is located in the forest with small ricefields around. Pretty much no turist in the area around so you really get a peaceful time. And just 10 minutes with a scooter from the area you will find one of the 6th oldest tempels on Bali, and a 5 min scooter ride gives you a stunning view of risefields with all of balis vulcanos in the background. On top of this, then the host is just amazing and so kind and helpful. Our best stay
This is a very artistic house, with amazing views of the near-by volcanic mountains.
It's a quiet place so bring a book for the sun lounger. The staff prepared an unexpected array of traditional.dishes for dinner which we ate by candle light. They even lit an open fire in the evening. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed their own home grown tea and were given a gift of tea when we left. Very nice people.
I ate the most delicious food in Bali at the hotel restaurant, we always had dinner here in the evening, enjoying the concert of frogs at tables overlooking the rice terraces. The balcony of the accommodation offered a fulll panorama view of rice terraces, which was incredibly beautiful, one of the best decision was to visit Jatiluwih rice terraces. Staff was very friendly and helpful to organize our daily trip.
I stayed here when I visited Jatiluwih rice terraces. 15-20min ride from there. I loved the surrounding as it is at the end of a village, with nice garden area, very quiet. My cottage was simple, but clean and cute, not too close to other cottages, made me feel very private. They have a bar restaurant area with a cute dog and a cat. Adii is very nice and talkative, make sure your stay is comfortable.
Made, Santi and their family are the most kind, loving and caring hosts. They made us feel part of the family and shared their knowledge, stories and village life with us. Santi is also the best chef and her cooking was the best food we had in Bali. Their home is beautiful, peaceful and so rich in nature and life. Thankyou for everything we love you. Nina & Giorgio.
This was pure harmony looking out over the rice terraces. Harmony of humans, earth and spirit. I loved listening to the sounds of frogs and birds from the lovely wooden porch and cottage. The best for getting away from all the craziness of the world. And it was very cool there too.
A beautiful stay up in the Jatiluwih / Penebal area. The views from the bungalows are truly magic, in every direction. You can't beat waking up to that each morning! The facilities are lovely and comfy, staff are exceptionally attentive and thoughtful, and the food is delicious.
The owners are very welcoming and available for any need (you can have breakfast and dinner prepared by them). The accommodation is very beautiful, nestled among the rice fields and very quiet, an excellent starting point for the central area of Bali. I would happily come back!
You'll be rewarded with the best views of Jatiluwih when staying here. There are not many luxury accommodations around here, so it's hard to find something decent. This guesthouse is a great choice and offers a good price/quality. TIP: Book a room on the first floor.
Beautiful location, amazing view, wonderful staff.
Property is absolutely amazing. The sounds of frogs at night was magical. The morning sunrise over the rice terraces was super cool.
Very quiet location.
It's one of the dream places to recommend. Away from the crowded places in Bali. In the middle of rice fields. Hearing the frogs and other animals in the night. Very peaceful and greatly maintained resort.
This is a really beautiful place to relax and unwind, Dewi is a lovely host and all of her staff are so kind and friendly. A perfect escape in the rice fields of Bali. Wonderful home cooked meals.
The location is wonderful - a cool mountain paradise near one of Bali’s most beautiful temples. The grounds are lovely and the bungalows charming. Adi, the man who does everything, is great!
Fantastic and cozy place in the middle of rice terraces. Very hospitable owners-family. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Breafast is tasty.
Place is absolutely above expectations.
The location was perfect... Just a short 4 min ride to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. The view of the surrounding rice terraces from the second floor balcony was awesome 😎
