Lovely view of the rice fields. Super comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast delivered right to the room. Feels really tucked away and like you’re in your own space. 100% recommend. Also a good place to start the hike up mount rinjani from the south side (which is slightly easier than the north).

The Alam Tetebatu Bungalow & Restaurant, hotel in Tetebatu

Set in Tetebatu, 16 km from Tetebatu Monkey Forest, The Alam Tetebatu Bungalow & Restaurant offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

We had such a lovely stay here! Fuji and her family were so welcoming from the beginning and we had some nice conversations! The bungalow was clean and cosy and had everything we needed including a good fan and hot water in the bathroom! The view from the bungalow was stunning - could see Mount Rinjani and the rice fields, we loved just sitting on the balcony admiring the view! The food was all homemade, fresh and delicious, some ingredients even picked from their garden! They also arranged a walking tour of the local area which we loved! Highly recommend The Alam Tetebatu!!

Green Orry is a really comfortable and well-situated place to stay, with lovely rooms and a pool and garden, right next to all of the main attractions on Tetebatu. The staff are super friendly and helpful, arranging tours and anything else you need. The food in the restaurant was excellent (one of the best beef rendang's I've had in Indonesia!). Would definitely stay again.

Very special stay with my friends and partner. From check in we were really well received and the host is always pay attention to our needs. We were craving for village duck meal and they literally made it happen off the menu. Really amazed by this experience - we never expected that the host will do above and beyond for our request. We feel very welcome and part of the family even tho we stay only for one night weekend trip. Really recommended for people who are looking for authentic Lombok village experience.

    A family operation.

A family operation. Everyone was very friendly and outgoing. Whenever I was walking in the village if I ran into hotel staff they would offer a ride on the moto. They also arrange transport, tours, including treks on Mt. Rinjani. Plan ahead.

    Just relax with nice atmosphere.

Just relax with nice atmosphere. Beautiful nature all around. Locals still living their life uninterrupted by tourism. Simple life, reminded me of my childhood growing up in small town. Had mixed weather for 6 days with no abundance of sunlight. Sunbathing spots are often blocked by trees, so book a nice villa with pool, otherwise just enjoy nature!

There is a monkey forest where monkeys are still wild and won‘t climb your shoulders or sth like that. It wasn‘t touristic at all in the forest we were the only people with our local guide. There are amazing hidden waterfalls and rice terraces and it‘s perfectly quite, so you are away from the noice of the more touristic areas for a while. Locals are also very friendly

We loved the local people and handicrafts. The hidden waterfall cave and paddy fields. The National Park has a range of fascinating plant varieties and spices and of course, the Ebony Leaf Monkey in its natural habitat.

They say ‘come as guest, leave as family’ that feeling is more then true!! We’ve had a wonderful stay an it actually was even too short!! Lunch and dinner are served in traditional ways and if you like spicy food, you can even try all their sambals! The bungalows are located about 200meters off the road, a steep walk down but easily to get there! There is much to see and the family is eager to show you around! Even the possibility to climb to the second summet of Mount Rinjani, though we didn’t do that. One thing to keep in mind, is that there are a lot of mosques around that start early in the morning. Some earplugs for a goodnight sleep are then a must, but the sounds of the the frogs and crickets make it up!!
