I cannot compliment the staff enough during my stay. The housekeeping staff are phenomenal and the charming gentleman at breakfast was so welcoming.
The breakfast was delicious, I ordered the veggie with coffee... Faultless.
The bed was extremely comfy and the short time I was there (I was at a wedding) I had no enjoyable sleep.

The room was lovely and comfortable. Their restaurant "Tapas" was incredible. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants all over the world. The food at Tapas is some of the best I've ever had and the desserts were 5 star!

I liked Roscrea and I did not find anything negative.
I liked Roscrea and I did not find anything negative. Rackett Hall was an ideal location and great value to visit Birr Castle and heritage sights in surrounding towns.
The food in Rackett hall was excellent and we did not find it necessary to eat elsewhere. There are several golf courses near at hand and Roscrea is a very welcoming club.

Lovely little town.
Lovely little town. Seemed very bustling in the business area, and St. Cronan's Catholic Church was beautiful! Also did some hiking at Orange Hill. Our only disappointment was the Roscrea Heritage Center, which was closed for renovation, and we had hoped to get help there with ancestor information. Despite being closed, the director and assistant were very friendly and helpful and gave us some great Roscrea history. Enjoyed our visit to Leap Castle, too.

The town is quite big and lots to see historically. 5 euro for a ticket at the castle gets you two tours and gallery viewing is free but also allows you to visit the other landmarks nearby on the same ticket.
There is lots to do nearby in other areas advertised around the town and on leaflets in the castle and hotels. Like Lough Derg for watersports and nature watching
Fantastic breakfast. We enjoyed an amazing assortment of fresh fruit and cereals before a lovely cooked breakfast. We were delighted to happen across this excellent B&B as the local hotel had no availability. However, we would not hesitate in making this our first choice going forward if we were to stay in the area again. Hosts were really welcoming and went the extra mile for us. The weather was very cold but the room was lovely and warm and the bed really comfortable.
It was far better than I thought. We stayed one night en route to County Kerry and it occurred to me that the hotel is more for enjoying a relaxing weekend away, especially if you play golf.
Staff were most friendly and helpful and accommodated our breakfast needs.
Beautifully decorated cottage, generously equipped. Great location close to Roscrea. Homely and interesting, Lovely Woodburning stove. Also a wood pellet stove for central heating. Everything in the cottage - Bedlinen, furniture, crockery, equipment – is lovely
Very easy to find the location of the B+B. Very friendly and welcoming owner/hostess. Room was great- hotel standard with lots of room, tv and ensuite. Breakfast and dining area very nice and clean as well. 100% recommended if you are in the area.
