The room was very clean, better than in the pictures.
Even if it was too hot, the temperature in the room was kept with the fan and the AC. And it is a new property, very well isolated.
The area is safe, and there are very good restaurants nearby.
The swimming pool was wonderful after the long day traveling.
Breakfast in the morning was very complete.

I have stayed in Gwalior four times over the last ten years.
I have stayed in Gwalior four times over the last ten years. The Gwalior Fort is one of the most impressive I have seen and a very rewarding visit. I have used Gwalior as a base for visits to other historic sites around Morena and Orchha, which have been a couple of my favorite destinations within driving distance from Delhi.

The fort was very good.
The fort was very good. However, the guide spent less time with us. There are other structures that are architecturally very good and one must not miss like the saas bahu temple, the surya temple and the saas bahu temple. The food in Gwalior is average.

I've been to Gwalior twice.
I've been to Gwalior twice. I've not found much charm in the city itself but the Fort and Temples within the fort walls are magnificent. Interesting Jain statues carved into the mountainside on the vehicle approach side to the fort. If I were to go back I'd be interested in walking the ramparts of the outer fort wall.
The Taj and the Neemrana are two excellent heritage hotels to choose from in Gwalior.
A two hour drive south is the city of Orchha, which has become one of my favorite places that I've visited in India because of its rich inventory of temples, chatris and forts, all located within a lovely and peaceful rural setting.
Great place, the apartment was large consist of two-rooms, which had everything you needed. Beautiful and cozy design. Separate kitchen. It's a pity that I only spent one night, I wish to stay longer. Loving and caring owners, gave all the necessary instructions and advice for spending time in Gwalior. Highly recommend this place!
I enjoyed everything about my stay at Dera Haveli - it provided a quiet haven from the noise and chaos of the busy streets of this neighbourhood. There's a wonderful view of the Gwalior Fort from the Hotel's rooftop. The staff were great, very polite and helpful - breakfast, and actually all the food I had on site was fantastic.
Because it was so incredibly hot in Gwalior we would go sightseeing early and rush back to the hotel and especially the pool. Nitin and the other people at the pool were extremely nice. Meals and especially breakfast were great. We absolutely loved the hotel.
Delightful stay. Excellent upkeep. Supportive Staff. Clean environment. Superb Hospitality. Ethnic environment. Home cooked food. Serene setting. Calm atmosphere. If you missed staying here in Gwalior, you will miss the true royal environment.
Lovely heritage hotel with bungalow-like rooms surrounding a garden. Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. Well-preserved, ornately-carved temples right within the hotel property. Very nice restaurant overlooking the garden.
The staff were amazing at the hotel. Staff were above and beyond. The rooms were comfortable and it felt like home. Good food, restaurant staff was also very nice. Definitely would stay again. Thanks for the exceptional service.....
Great stay with clean spacious room and bedsheets, pillows are clean and soft... Food is yummy and so many options available...good location near Gwalior ... Polite staff and taking good care of their customers...

The staff at this hotel figured out the small details of what makes the stay comfortable. I liked this hotel the most of all hotels I stayed during this trip in India.
Horrible experience . We were denied booking and informed it was booked through some fake app. Horrible horrible experience. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.
