Poppy's exceeded my expectations. The rooms were neat, the staff very courteous, food super tasty, bathrooms and sheets very clean, fresh toiletries, good room service and house keeping too! They also had a covered parking which made it even more awesome considering it was peak summer! There was running hot water through out the day in both the bath taps and sinks. The TV had many channels and was smart one to connect our devices too for some entertainment. The most important part was AC ;) was functioning absolutely fine.. Though the hotel looks old and in the middle of a busy city, it definitely did help us take a break from our long travel and get some good food and sleep. Would definitely travel to Poppy's if I visit Tiruppur

    Very busy town - heavy traffic and very very noisy -...

    Very busy town - heavy traffic and very very noisy - everyone drives on the horn. No pavements for walking, very few pedestrian crossings - generally not suitable for walking around. Very few taxis/auto's - so general moving around can be difficult. Most locations are either not marked on google maps, or are marked wrong. Good area if you are looking to buy clothing and fabric material. Lots of kovil/temples in the area.

    It’s the place for woven clothing, nothing else.I only ate at the hotel and in Domino’s.It is crowded, noisy , with uncovered sewage running on roads side. Very cheap cotton clothes and fabrics, transportation is very cheap too ( I rented a cab for five hours for nearly 10 US$.) I may add that my stay was a week before Diwali which is a big festival for Indians Who prepare for it by purchasing clothes and other stuff , so maybe in other days it will not be as crowded as I experienced .

    they are cheaters they quote the price below 500 rs online and when we reach there they said this hotel is full and our other hotel is near by and there the room charge is 1600 rs. so this is their trick of cheating after that i checked online and room was available so i booked room online for 470 rs and showed him booking confirmation so he saud that power problem is there so we cant give you room right now so friends please be aware of this scam

    No morning tea included and no breakfast. Hotel does not have tea or food prepared in it's premises. So it was very difficult to do out for tea and food every time. Ultimately we could find a restaurant 'Cinnamon' in another hotel, 'Vinayaka' and it was decent) only because of that we could stay there.

    The staffs need some training . Rest all seems ok. They can call you or knock your door even when the DND sign is on. Earlier during corona times they don't wear mask. So over all training is necessary but in Tiruppur i can't find a better hotel. So i can give a rating 7.
