This hotel was great for the last night before our flight. The room was very clean, beds comfortable and bathroom was lovely. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time there to enjoy the pool and other facilities but highly recommend this hotel for a before or after flight stay.

Gardur is a small town ... with a wonderful Lighthouse that is very photogenic ... no traffic ... no crowds. Gardur is a very limited for restaurants and other services ... but an excellent choice if you want to explore the Reykjanes Peninsula ... and close to the airport.

For me, the Garður Apartments were ideal: there was a kitchen area to prepare food (because there are no nearby restaurants), the area was quiet except for calling birds, and I enjoyed walking to lighthouse that is about 20 minutes' walk away.
