We were quite surprised and absolutely impressed that the hotel owner actually walked from the hotel to the bus stop to greet us. Prior to our arrival from Amalfi he texted to ensure we were on the correct bus and that we got off at the correct stop. He walked us back to the hotel and straight to our room. The room was large and very clean, had the usual amenities, and included a balcony where we could see the activities in the small town square. We believe it was the family patriarch that looked for us the next morning as we sat on a local bench near the hotel just taking in the morning. He invited us to the dining room behind the hotel for a wonderful breakfast that included entirely too much food for two of us.

This place had personal touch in every aspect of it - the same kind when it’s ran by family. However, attention to details, customer service, and amenities provided surpassed even big brand names in hospitality. Baltazar - owner manager, his sweet mom - pastry chef, his father - second generation chef, his grandfather, after whom the restaurant on the property is named - every employee we got to meet - they all created very cosy, tasty, and comfortable environment where one would want to find him/herself when planning to get away from busy schedules. That is what we were looking to do ourselves and it fitted perfectly to what we needed. Even its location - above everybody else, worked perfectly for us - away from noise and turmoil of overcrowded streets of Amalfi even in April. Did I mention vast sea underneath that we were “forced”to observe?

The room was exactly like in the pictures posted on booking.com. The furniture and the paintings on the ceiling are impressive and they send you back in time. Everything was very clean. Antonio was very helpful, always with a smile on his face when serving breakfast or giving information. We had a very good dinner at Da Gigino very close to Palazzo Lauritano.

It is a small town on the hills of Amalfi, one hour away from any beach city. The people are very friendly, it is a quite small town with cozy restaurants and great food, more suitable for a silent rest than the beach resorts.

The location very nice, like in the mountains.
The location very nice, like in the mountains. A good location to visit Amalfi coast, although not straight on the shore. Around 1.5h drive to Positano, quite similar times to Amalfi and Ravello, +\- 10 mins. Be prepare to mostly eat pizza, not many restaurants in Agerola and mostly well rated are Pizzerias.

Excellent location for completing the path of the gods as it is situated right at the start of the trail
There’s an excellent viewing point of the Amalfi coast about a 10 -15 minute walk from the centre (Parco Corona)
Local people seem really friendly.
The bus stop to Amalfi is right in the middle of Agerola and is a 30 - 40 minute ride away.

The views were beautiful.
The views were beautiful. The place was situated high up on the mountain. The only thing is that someone should know some English. It’s a little difficult in communicating with them if you do not speak their language. The Wi-Fi wasn’t that great, but other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Getting around was easy. In the town of Agerola, they had buses to take you into the Amalfi coast area and you could also take the boats to Positano. Very affordable.
A new facility less than 2 years since it was built. Everything is clean and beautiful. Breakfast was very good, and the outside garden seating delightful with a lovely sea view at a distance. This is wonderful getaway for quiet relaxation, however, it is far from Amalfi. A 30 to 50 minute bus ride (depending on the traffic). The hotel is located away from the city in the midst of small agricultural properties and gardens. The hotel provides free transportation to/from the bus stop and scheduled intervals.
The room was in great condition, felt like newly built/renovated and a convenient breakfast included was bonus. The owner was quite concerned with the guests.
The hotel did not have a private parking but very close to public one, which was available with free spaces all the time.
Also the hotel location is very close to the center of Agerola. We also enjoyed spending time in the town with some budget-friendly cute cafes and dinner options.
Very nice and well-kept hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. The owner recommended a gourmet restaurant nearby for dinner, which we decided to try and it was the most amazing experience for us (we usually go for the cheeper options), so thanks! The hotel is also very close to the center of Agerola and also to the starting point on the Path of Gods trail.
Lovely owners, helpful and friendly. Beware this is not a normal hotel so you have to make allowances for the type of property where you are staying. Very good breakfast. Dinner also good but somewhat haphazard in that you have to give notice and beware that the establishment is used by specialist tour groups which rather dominate the dining area.
Staff are incredibly helpful and really friendly! Hotel is finished to a really high standard.
I would highly recommend the hotels restaurant, the food was amazing - I would also listen to their recommendations with what to have and what wine to paid with it!
I would also recommend to walk the “Path of the Gods”.
The most amazing breakfast, some of the best we’ve had in Italy so far. Great location if you want to do the Path of gods hike (10 min walk to the start of the path). Convenient bus stop with direct connection to Amalfi(2 min walk). The atmosphere is super welcoming.
Make sure to try their home made jams.
Silvio was amazing and extremely welcoming. We had an amazing time at the farm with fresh food, beautiful views, and a very comfortable stay. There is a convenient bus connection to Amalfi very close by. So we did not have to take our car. Will highly recommend and definitely come back here if possible.
This hotel is the warmest I have ever stayed. We can see a great Italian family here. Although I stayed here alone, I didn't feel sad thanks to them. On the ground floor, we can have breakfast and dinner with glimpsing a fireplace. Their food is great. I recommend everyone to have bruschetta!!
A very good hotel, building is unique and made in a special way, very pastoral with lots of trees and plants in the surrounding. What made the experience better was the crew: Teresa was so helpful, Zacaria was very nice and Luigi's risotto was the best that my wife had eaten in Italy!
- ~50 mins to Positano
- 30 mins to Amalfi Coast
- Super clean
- Amazing breakfast with local ingredients
- Very responsive
- Wifi
- Free parking (amazing, especially if you are traveling by car)
- Easy access for older people (just two flights of stairs)
The hotel was excellent in every way. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to explore the Amalfi coast. The buffet breakfast set us up nicely for the day. Theresa was an excellent host, helping us to plan our days and where to eat etc.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Price was rather low for the area and the season. Comfortable bed. A lot of hiking opportunities like the path of gods, Monte Tre Calli or Monte Molare starting directly from the hotel.
It’s a pretty property in Agerola, easy to get to if your taxi driver is up for it, cause it’s up on a hill. The breakfast deli, the staff so attentive! The room so comfortable, the bathroom so clean and great size!
Staff is friendly and provides great service. The in house restaurant is open till 12AM and has excellent food options. The hotel is located at a peaceful and scenic location. It's worth every penny.
