The villa is spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The location in the mountains is peaceful and relaxing. The nearby hilltop town of Atina is quaint and picturesque, and we enjoyed having an excellent dinner in one of the outdoor restaurants, Pinta, and seeing the celebration of the local religious festival of Santa Maria Assunta on August 13-14 during Ferragosto. Laura, the owner of the villa, was extremely helpful in helping us get settled in and answering our questions before arrival. Our group of 7 friends was very happy with the choice and enjoyed being able to stay together in the same place with 4 bedrooms at such a reasonable price. The location was also convenient for our visits to Monte Cassino and Pescasseroli. Will definitely return!

The grounds outside are very pretty and well-cared for. The cleaning ladies are very sweet and helpful. The restaurant staff are very nice and the food at the restaurant is good. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you have a room facing the pool, you have a beautiful view of the grounds and surrounding mountains from your balcony.

We arrived on a summer holiday when it was all lit up. The view from our outdoor cafe over the valley was excellent. We could see lights from the hillside town across the valley. The town is nestled into the hill. The next morning was open market with booths all over. So enchanting.

Why is this place not better known?
Why is this place not better known? It is an ancient and lovely little town with pretty streets and fantastic views at almost envy turn. Stayed in the lovely Palazzo del Senatore and ate a delicious meal at Le Cannardizie close by. A great place to stay if visiting Montecassino.
