Very friendly welcome, with a complementary aperitif and a gift of some local biscuits too. This was much appreciated after a difficult day on the road. The apartment was lovely, right in the middle of the Borgo. Thank you!

I liked everyting of the property. It is a two floors full apartment, with an equipped kitchen. There are stairs for going upstairs. The bathroom has all one needs. The bed is comfortable and from the bedroom one can see the Forte di Bard. The location is excellent, since the place is right in the central street, very close to the lifts that bring visitors up to the Forte . I arrived by train; it took about ten minutes to arrive on foot. The breakfast is rich and good. I have not used the wifi.

The key element here was how flexible and kind the hostess was. I was allowed to check in very early, and the check in was easy. The location is also wonderful; the room looked right out over the river and Fort Bard can be seen from the window. Comfortable room with enough space and storage.

The breakfast was very good but some non sweet cereal would be appreciated by Australian visitors.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. She was aware of limited eating places and informed of a good place.
We were looked after from start of booking to check out by Deborah on front desk who made everything very clear and arranged things like dinner reservations. The location is unique, and with only 11 rooms it makes for a special experience. We stayed in both the junior suite and the main suite. Both were great. Views out were of course spectacular. We had two days and it took all of that to visit the Fort museums and exhibitions, and we didnt really have enough time in the medieval town of Bard. Will definately stay here again.

Everything about my stay was fabulous. The people here were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I ate dinner twice at the restaurant and the food, service and ambiance was great. Breakfast was good too. My room was roomy and comfortable. The location easy walking distance from the train station and the Fort Bard. I didn’t use the spa but I was given a tour and it looks intimate and relaxing. I would love to return.
unique experience, Deborah on the front desk super helpful right from booking, arranging restaurants and other matters when booking had to change when we got COVID. room very comfortable. access to the Forts museum as and facilities was of course excellent. the local town of Bard and nearby Hone were easily accessible on foot.
The room was big and very comfortable and also soundproof. The hotel is indeed in a unique position at the top of the Fort and we enjoyed this new experience. Deborah was an excellent host who was very kind to explain everything and also helped us whenever it was needed. She made our stay memorable.

The location of this hotel is simply amazing. Great experience, which I suggest to all those who likes to experience something like nothing else. The staff is very cordial and professional, and the breakfast is really yummy. Rooms are clean and very comfy.
The Landlady is an extremely nice person. She waited for us long with the keys as the flight was delayed. She runs a shop downstairs where you can buy local specials.
The appartment is comfortable and has a marvellous view towards the Bard fortress.
Described as a room, but it was a characterful self-contained appartment. Lovely kitchen with kettle and choice of tea bags (coffee machine also). Very helpful host and lovely breakfast of fresh sweet things. All right in the old town of Bard.
the hotel is located inside a fortress, in a breathtaking location; the staff has been extremely kind and available to support, the room was enormous and clean, with a large bed and a lot of silence
What a location! Couldn't get better than this and the Bard Fort is so charming and full of history. Staff was so welcoming and warm. A wonderful stay overall and would highly recommend it
I really, really enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel. The staff, the room, the spa, and the restaurant were all excellent. It is a great place to stay when visiting the Fort of Bard.

It is unique experience to stay overnight in the fortress. Hotel rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathroom is big. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
