My time at Poggio delle Molare was amazing. It was just what I needed relaxing yet plenty to do like get in the hot tub, swim in the stunning pool, walk down the road to the amazing restaurant I ate at both nights during my stay. The complimentary breakfast was incredible and my room was beautiful. I woke up early and watched the sun rise on my private deck overlooking the Italian countryside in my plush robe provided for me. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in too! The owner Monica was amazing and helped me get there safely even accommodating me when I needed to check in a little late. I can not wait to go back!

Location was nice, with a view across fields to the lake. Comfortable room (though a couple more pillows would have been welcome!) Good value breakfast. A welcome bolthole after Vueling cancelled our flight home at less than 24 hours notice...

Bracciano is a very good landing point for visiting Rome.
Bracciano is a very good landing point for visiting Rome. It is much less expensive, and has frequent train connections to central Rome. The town is very cute, with a typical old historical center, a big fat old castello, and many restaurants and bars. There are also two other very nice towns on the lake: Trevignano and Anguillara. Both are worth a visit.

Bracciano is a medieval town around 40km north of Rome.
Bracciano is a medieval town around 40km north of Rome. This means that it is easily accessible from Rome's airports. The town is dominated by its magnificent castle, Castello Orsini-Odescalchi, which definitely merits a visit. Just off the castle is the main square, surrounded by some excellent restaurants and bars. There are also other outlets in the streets just off the square that merit a visit.
Apart from the centre, Bracciano has its lake, which is quite busy during the summer days. This is definitely worth a visit or two (or three!) during your stay.
I would recommend a tour of the military airforce museum, which is very well-organised with hundreds of artefacts.
A couple of villages that border the lake are also worth a visit - Trevignano and Anguallara Sabazia.

A picturesque town, close to Rome, well communicated with the capital by train or by car. The town is on the hill, so coming back from the lake means a climb. Still, the swim in the lake is delicious. The old town area and the castle are worth visiting and offer a respite from bustling Rome.

A wonderful place with great local cafes and restaurants,. Fantastic rail access to/from Rome. If you have a car there are some wonderful places to visit around the late. A perfect place for a relaxing break.
Design of the apartment was very appealing and cosy. It feels like home. A lot of nice details. Very close to the train station, town center and castle. 15-20 minutes walk to the lake. The lake is awesome: warm and clean fresh water, black lava sand. Lots of water activities. Overall Bracciano is a nice calm place to relax several days after noisy Rome.
I had a low expectation of the hotel due to its low rating from previous travellers, so was really pleasantly surprised by the view, the clean room and having a balcony to enjoy the view. I thought it was good value. I didnt use the pool but definitely would have if had been able to stay longer than one night.
Beautifully renovated spacious flat in the heart of the historical centre, equipped with all mod cons. Marco is a very kind and helpful host who accommdated all our needs, even gave us tips to bars and restaurants. Overall, a perfect stay in Bracciano, well recommended.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of old town Bracciano. Very clean, atmospheric and nicely arranged. Anna is simply an angel - she made sure we have all we need and helped us get to the place even though it was late in the evening.
Located in the centre of Bracciano and close to all the restaurants and bars. Within walking distance to the station for trains to Rome. You can also walk to the lake in less than half an hour if you are feeling energetic
It's such a cozy, family oriented place. The kids loved the Harry Potter themed place. The location, near Bracciano's castle and lake, just ideal.
The owner is extremelly kind. We had a blast!!!
Host met us to give the keys. Nice castle to visit in the town and a view of the lake from the deck. Washing machine available. Induction stove! Never used one of those before.
It was amazing. I really appreciated the silence around the property. The swimming pool was quite warm and pleasant. There is a road in the woods that directly leads to the lake
The appartement is very spacious and contains everything you need.
Tip: every few minutes, a shuttle bus drives up and down to the lake (free of charge)!
