Extremely quiet. Great view of the bay. The little dog in reception area was cute. The hostess was very friendly and tolerated my bad Italian. Huge room with comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower. Good TV. Plenty of secure parking. Early check-in. Only 20 mins to airport. 20 mins from Vesuvius.
A few metres from the entrance to the Herculaneum excavations, this 18th-century villa offers large, modern rooms overlooking the sea or the 25,000 m² grounds surrounding the hotel.

Villa was nice. Rooms are decent. Breakfast was nice. Value for the money! Ercoloum was just walking distance from the villa. Parking is free :)

Although not in a great area, the moment we stepped inside it was exceptional- a stunning villa restored with live by Chico, the owner- huge and magnificently decorated room- modern bathroom and gorgeous common areas for sitting and relaxing. Chico and Sumi were amazing hosts- could not do enough for us. We arrived mid afternoon when restaurants are closed, so they prepared a beautiful lunch for us at no charge. We were made so welcome.

Location was perfect, so was breakfast, there is a really good little restaurant on the corner
The ruins were fantastic. There is also the Teatro Antico, which is still underground. We missed out on this as we didn't find out about it until we got there. They only admit small groups at a time and it was fully booked. Tickets are available from the Herculaneum entrance or on the Ticket One website, so you really need to book on advance. There is a virtual Archaeological museum in the town. This includes a short 3D film about Vesuvius, the opportunity to fly a virtual drone and a VR experience of walking round one of the palace gardens. Ideal for kids and teens! The museum is screen based about Herculaneum ruins and does not include actual discoveries from the site.
For visiting the surrounding areas, trains into Naples are regular, as are trains to Pompeii (but you have to change - the ticket man didn't tell us this!). Don't miss the chance to wander round the actual town of Pompei. It was beautiful! In fact, next time I would choose to stay there over Ercolano or Naples!

My grandchild suggests we would have been better staying in Pompeii and travelling to Ercolano one day. I had decided to follow what my neighbour suggested, based on taking a younger child to southern Italy.

We spent one night in Ercolano to visit the ruins of Herculaneum and break up our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The ruins are a must-see and you can experience authentic Naples pizza at RO.VI. We also enjoyed espresso and drinks at the Herculaneum Cafe. I'm not sure what you'd do here for more than a day or two, but the ruins and authentic cuisine were definitely worth our time!

The apartment was very nice and people of Ercolano very friendly. They really drive like crazy, but that is their way of life. Train station is really near the apartment and best option to reach Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento...

Ercolano is a small town nearby Vesuvio, which can be seen from most everywhere, Naples bay also is lovely and is seen from most of the places in the town. You can easily find nice fish, pizza, fast food and traditional local restaurants in 10-15 min walk. There is a nice but small botanical garden in the territory of the local university. They also have a park of mandarins/tangerines which you can pick up for free.
The ruins of Ercolano/Herculaneum exceeded our expectations! It is not overcrowded as Pompei, the territory you can walk through in 1-1.5 hours, moreover, some buildings are in better condition ... we liked it.
Antonio the owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people you will ever meet. The place is immaculate. Best pizza in Naples right next door. Only 50meters to the entrance of Herculaneum. We needed a place to stay before flying out of Naples and close-in hotels were not well reviewed. 7cento is an excellent choice. Transportation to the airport is easily arranged. One of the members of our group had a medical emergency and Antonio was an angel in helping us. The high rating of this place is well deserved.
Perfect location for those who seek to get away from the crowded Naples and enjoy the quiet and serenity of sea view. The nearest train station with a connection to Naples is about 20 mins walk along a beautiful seashore. The train station to Pompeii is about 25-30 mins walk through the town. The hotel has two open air pools (kids and adults) and a wonderful view on Capri island. The beach itself is a work in progress, but there are several small town beaches nearby. Awesome breakfast and friendly staff.
The hotel is quite new and beautifully designed and styled. The garden is large, green and peaceful with a refreshing pool. The brothers who own the place are very attentive. One of them took the time to help us reserve tickets to visit Vesuvius and we got some tips for nice restaurants in the area. The hotel is a 20 min drive from Vesuvius and 10 min from the Herculaneum archeological site. Breakfast was a selection of delicious local and homemade sweets, but on request we also got some fruit and eggs.
Villa Cua is the best choice if you are visiting the Ercolano and Naples area. Close to the train, restaurants, attractions, good transport. The neighborhood is safe. The room is clean and we had everything we needed. Our host Salvatore is extremely kind and helpful. When we had a problem, he helped us immediately and informed us thoroughly about everything. He arranged the taxi to the airport and other destinations. For everyone who wants to travel safely, I highly recommend staying at Villa Cua.
A very clean b&b, with a free usage of an espresso machine in lobby. Owners very friendly, helpful and they also speak very good English. For people who smoke they have a bolcony with a table and chairs which is accessable from the lobby.
The B&B is also right next to the public train station, and there are also, restaurants and turist guide with tours all over Naples and Taxi service.
Great B&B if visiting again Ercolano will surley choose Iside 👍🏻🙂
Location was of easy access from Ercolano Scavi train station. From there it was easy to walk to Ercolano and also take the bus up to Vesuvio. Breakfast was in a little Café down the block, simple and nice. They offered coffee or Cappuccino and a variety of croissants to choose from. There are also some good restaurants on the street in a walking distance. Room was small and simple, but pretty clean and with good WiFi. Good enough for a couple of nights.
Exactly as reviewed. We wanted somewhere close to Pompeii and to Naples, and this fabulous hotel in the middle of gorgeous ground was perfect. Took a room with Vesuvius and ocean view. Couldn't get enough. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Didn't try to pool....too busy. Special shout out to Enzio for recommending a dinner option, and to Francesco for checking up if and when Vesuvius park would reopen, and details about how to climb. Perfect stay!
An easy 4 minute walk straight downhill from the train station in Ercolano. Beautiful apartment with high ceilings and walls painted in Venetian colors. Good pizza close by. Excellent communication with off site host in English and on site assistance from Vito in Italian only. Cold water and some fruit in the fridge was very nice. The bed was large and comfortable.
Beautiful historic villa with lovely garden right in the centre of Ercolano with parking behind a gate. Large rooms and a nice kitchen. Owner was very responsive and ready to sort out any issues. Walking distance to Ercolano ruins. Nice free breakfast in a typical bar around the corner and a well stocked supermarket and greengrocer just over the road.
Nice breakfast. Homemade bread, very good coffee, capuccino. Nice staff. Frer shuttle to train station Ercolano scavi. Easy train rides to Pompei, Napoli. Easy Vesuvio visit organized by hotel with local travel agency. We stayed 7 nights. Hotel had no wedding at that time. Restaurant is really good.
Martina and her mother were very friendly and inviting. Martina provided us with a map of many local restaurants and attractions. They were available to answer any questions we had. Having a near by beach to walk to and see the sunset was an added bonus. Would definitely book this location again.
The hotel is right on the opposite side of Hetculaneum and it is a 10-minute downhill walk from Ercolano Scavi Circumvesuviana station. The hotel is very pleasant, the staff is very nice and the breakfast is hearty, delucious amd very well organized. We had a lovely night here, thank you.
Great location, a few meters away from Ercolano Scavi. Host is great and very reachable, welcome was fantastic and super friendly. Very quiet place, ideal for a couple nights to discover Ercolano and Reggia di Portici Museum. I highly recommend
The location is perfect to visit the archeological site. The staff at the reception, kitchen and cleaning is very kind and happy to help at any time. The terrace is nice and cosy. The hotel was very quiet and we felt like at home.
Clean, safe, quiet, comfortable beds, very caring host that showed us around in Ercolano, working wifi. Very close to the beach and a nice place to stay if you visit Herculaneum.
The hotel has a nice terasse.
The location was perfect with regard to the excavation site in Ercolano and also close to the train station (to Pompeji/ Naples).
