Good town with a family friendly ski resort nearby. If you want more entertainment and ski slopes, you can drive 30 km from the town to the Marmalada mountain and get to the sella ronda tracks. Location: 2 hour drive to Braie slake, 1 hour drive to Canazei, 1:50 drive to Ortisei, 35 min to Moena, 20 min drive to Alleghe beutiful lake. In Falcade there several Pizzerias, the closest one and highly reccomende Livia (250 METER FROM THE HOTEL). I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Dolomites. Would definitely send a friend there.

Rooms are very comfortable and well heated, excellent lighting, matrasses are new and fresh but...(see my dislikes). Dinners have been overall superb, with a wide range of options, food was freshly cooked and we enjoyed every bite after hours spent on the cross-country skiing slopes.

Molino itself is a nice and calm part of Falcade. The common area/living room is large and spacy, with large eating table. It is warm in the winter, you can easily manipulate the temperature to let the skiing clothes dry.

It was a little bit uncomfortable. Equipment was fine, a lot of dishes in ketchen and towels. Location is great near from Passo Valles where you can start your hike. Dog for 10€ per night. Parking free outside the hotel.

However after long discussion, we made it to get another room in another hotel. This hotel was nice and comfortable even though the cleaning ladies in the morning were a bit loud. The location was good and walkable.
