You either like it or hate it. We were unlucky to be there in a pretty bed weather, cold weather front with torrential rain instead of a nice and warm Easter weekend. Yet, the guys living and working there made it unforgettable. I will definitely come back!

You feel here like a part of the village with all positives and negatives. We really appretiate positive attitude of Fausto and his (and his wife) invitation. The house is fully equiped by everything you would need for your stay. The place is perfect for walking into the mountains. During July, when at coast was approximately 33-35 C during a day, in Pascoso was approximately 5 grades lower temperature. Evenings are not hot but not cold in July.
When you want visit Lucca (highly recommended), it takes approx. 45 minutes by car to get there. The coast is approx. 1,15 hour from the place - good to get there once or twice during your stay to mix it with visiting of other places (Lucca, Pisa etc.).
It's a traditional farmhouse up in the hills. If you want to experience traditional Garfagnana rural life, it's the only place to go.
I have never stayed in such a fantastic holiday accommodation. It's the only place where I can truthfully say that I am dying to come back.
There are two farms in the valley which serve traditional local food.
