We stayed at Il Rifugio for 5 nights and had a fantastic time touring the region of Salento. The accommodation is situated centrally so we could get to all the major cities and beaches in under 30minutes.
Filomena was a fantastic hostess gave us great suggestions on where to go. She spoke great English so it was really interesting hearing about her life and how she ended up in Puglia and other Puglian traditions.
We had lunch at her restaurant and it was really amazing - totally recommend staying or at least eating here.
La Chiesura is located in Galugnano and has a private pool and pool views. This holiday home provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi.

We last visited La Chiesura in 2019 and enjoyed our stay and decided to return. We found the general facilities and gardens to be very good, however the outside furnishings and internal furnishings are rather run down and need replacing in some cases. Roberto the manager was very good and responsive to any request given to him. We enjoyed our stay but felt that an upgrade in some areas was required.

The location was great for exploring Puglia and close to Lecce with all its history. The hotel was a very relaxing place with its pool and orchard. Irina, the owner, was very helpful with suggestions of where best to go and to eat as well as daily weather reports

It is a very nice place in the middle of Salento. This place is ideal if you want to stay in a nice hotel and drive to the nearby towns and beaches, very close to Lecce and Gallipolli. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are big enough and come with a small patio which is nice. The place seemed very inclusive and open-minded which was great.
