This island is a perfect mix of beach, Italian culture, and amazing food. Castello gives you that little Tuscan town vibe, while Campese and Cannelle are lovely beaches with great restaurants and bars. I would seriously move here it was so lovely. We ate at trattoria del golfo, pizzeria del giglio (in castelle) and Angolo di Napoli. All three were fantastic. It’s easy to get around by bus or foot. We did not rent a car and did not need it. The bus is very straightforward to get to other parts of the island, although it doesn’t run as frequently as expected (but I’m a New Yorker so I have high public transit expectations).

Small, beautiful and busy port, but still relaxing.
Small, beautiful and busy port, but still relaxing. Great swimming of the cliffs. Totally worth a couple of nights. Recommended a night at beautiful la guardia hotel or just a glass of wine on their terrasse overlooking the ocean.
