B&B La Vecchia Stazione was a wonderful choice for our stay in Gioiosa Ionica. The welcoming staff and beautiful location cannot be beat. The quality of our rooms, and the amenities included ..especially a balcony to wake up to the beauty that is Gioiosa. The common area -kitchen and dinette and sitting area was perfect for a lunch with other family members staying at the B&B. We were able to relax and plan our day. The balcony there was overlooking the main street, and directly in front of Gatto Pasticceria (where we enjoyed our included breakfasts) We purchased many items there to share with our family visits too- Pastries, cookies, mini ice cream cones, torrone, etc. The staff there were so friendly and professional. B&B La Vecchia Stazione was the perfect choice for proximity to the town square - where we can shop for essentials at the supermarket, visit the Churches, grab a caffè and pasticcino with friends at the many cafes, beautify yourself at the hair and nail salons, shop for Calabrian souvenirs at the Sunday mercato, and especially visit our nearby Family.
