Lovely drive to a nice hotel within the city walls. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable and spacious for 2 of us. The reception was helpful to make reservation at a restaurant for us and provided umbrellas when it rained. Also helped to park our car within the hotel compounds.
Hotel Santa Caterina is housed in an 18th-century villa just a few steps from Porta Romana. Enjoy breakfast out on the terrace with a view of the Tuscan hills.

Hotel Italia is a charming 20-minute walk from Siena's Piazza del Campo. The escalator which connects the historical centre to Siena Station is 50 metres from the hotel. Buses stop just 30 metres...

The location is great, close to the Train Station and 25 min walking to city center. The breakfast is really good. Confortable bed. Nice staff. We were able to leave our luggage at reception after check out since our train would depart only late at night.

Very pleasant comfortable hotel with lovely staff and convenient for the town centre - a 10 minute walk away - and only five minutes to a cafe and terrace with a great view of Sienna. It would be especially good for the summer to be able to escape from the centre of town easily.
Very nice place with great views. The hotel is on the top of the hill, from which you can see Siena and near by towns. Big spacious apartments. Best to travel with a car/taxi. Everything else will be problematic.
