A fantastic hotel in rustic alpine style in the center of the village. This means that you have access to some nice small shops just outside the hotel (and restaurants if needed). It is a couple of hundred meters to the ski lifts but the hotel has a great shuttle service that takes you there in less than 5 minutes. You just need to make sure you book a time slot with the reception. Our comfort room was large and with good storage. The beds were really comfortable and the staff rearranged the bedding to better suit me and my son. Nice large bathroom.
The staff is absolutely top class, 10/10, everyone from the reception, the lady in the SPA, cleaners. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff who were super friendly, helpful and made the extra effort to make us feel at home. A special thanks also to the shuttle bus driver who had some minor issues with our long all mountain skis but managed it great.
The SPA is also really nice with a sauna, steam bath, pool and a relaxation area after a full day of skiing. Again you need to book an hour time slot but that makes sure it does not get crowded.
We would definitely consider staying here again if/when we come back to La Thuile.

La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village.
La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village. I visited with my girlfriend, so I didn't go looking for too many Après-Skis. Everything is relatively close and there are some good restaurants.
Some of the ski lifts could have been more up-to-date, but nothing negative.

La Thuile is a quiet resort with a decent number of good restaurants and nice shops selling local produce. The ski area is fantastic and the fact that you can ski into La Rosiere and it's ski area is brilliant. Although we didn't take advantage of it, the general Aosta valley areas are linked up and you can use a six day ski pass in specified other ski areas in the valley for two of those days, so there's a lot of variety. I'm also told that your ski pass gets you on to the ski bus services, and the Mont Blanc Skyway cable car (though I believe the cable car uses both of your 'non LaThuile' day passes - but it's a huge saving. It's super easy to get to by car from Turin, the atmosphere in the village is nice, the mountain bars and restaurants are good and reasonably priced. I'd go back again for sure.

We were delighted to discover charming La Thuile in the Italian Alps. We only shuttled between our accommodation and the ski station with our family of four. But, we were delighted with the surroundings of the charming town and mountains. The ski station was friendly, uncrowded, easy and perfect for families. Food on the mountain was good and not too expensive. In town there are no major grocery stores, but we found a little shop (Il Castello Ortofrutta E Alimentari) with all the food essentials and excellent local products. Driving in town was easy, but on the more crowded weekends parking at the station filled up quickly. The free town shuttle makes a good option. We had a fantastic sojourn and cannot return to experience the summer and another ski trip.

La Thuile is a small scale resort with an enormous number of ski pistes, thanks to its connection to La Rosière. It feels more authentic and less industrial than most Alpine ski resorts. It is relatively family friendly and good value for money
It is literally next door to the gondola so the painful walk in ski boots was minimal. The staff and food were brilliant. They managed to keep everyone in the family happy, including 2 picky vegetarians, one health food fan and a pizza loving child. The food standard was incredibly high for buffet, we kept the same table for every meal. Staff at the bar were super helpful and managed everything quickly and efficiently. spa was modern and really nice.
My hubby and I had a lovely break away here. The room was gorgeous with a very comfy bed and fabulous hot shower and bath, great after a full day skiing. There was a boot room for your skis and storage that warmed your boots, ready for the following day. The staff were all lovely. Breakfast delicious.
We used the sauna most days and when the pool and spa facilities are completed, the hotel will be even more beautiful.
The location was excellent for the slopes - only 50m walk with great ski storage including heated rack for boots. Car park at the front of the hotel - free.
The breakfast was one of the best I have had in Europe - plentiful and fresh.
Lovely interior and friendly staff.
The hotel exceeded my expectations and its location so close to the slopes was just brilliant. Fantastic value for money.
Very sympathetic small family run hotel in the heart of La Thuile. We liked our room, which was spacious and had a whirlpool. The decor is quirky, but adds a lot of personality to the place. The staff was extremely friendly to the point that they wouldn't accept tip. It was a lovely stay and we would like to return. Lindsay Vonn stayed here!
Hotel is in the center of La Thuile. The shuttle bus to the ski resort is only a few meters away. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The cappuccino for breakfast is the best we ever had in a hotel, thanks to "Carlone style". The restaurant of the Hotel offers best Italian cuisine, which we enjoyed every evening.
The location is ideal for those intending to ski or snowboard at La Thuile as the gondola and pistes are right across the street from the hotel and residences. There's equipment rental right next to the location, and there was an in facility sauna, which was nice. The room also had 2 separate bathrooms which was nice.
Newly refurbished mountain cottage with everything you need for a skiing holiday. Excellent location in the middle of the skiing area. You can easily be the first one on the slopes in the morning. You have a direct view of Mont Blanc from the shower. Corrado is a great host.
Convenient for local ski bus and could walk down from Petite Skieur. Very friendly hotel manager. Excellent breakfast. We met people that had been staying here each year for many years. Overall good value.
Such a great hotel! Especially the staff, so kind and helpful. Also, the hotel includes a nice restaurant, so you don't need to go away to enjoy local food. Breakfast was perfect as well.
Near the ski bus station. Great view of the mountain. Underground parking garage. Ski equipment storage and drying room. Grocery store on the first floor.
Breakfast and dinner were quite good. The spa is very nice although the staff could be more hospitable. The location is great if you're there for skiing.
