Great location, close by Varenna in a nice and quiet village. David is a great guy, really friendly and thinks with us in solutions. We took our own scooter with us and he maked a place in the parking where it could stand. The apartment is everything you need, we had a great time!

The apartment was modern, very clean and finished to a high standard. Host was so friendly and helpful, including some wonderful local restaurant recommendations. The garden at the rear was great with views of the mountains and the large balcony at the front gave stunning views of Lake Como. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

What we really liked was very friendly and hospitable hosts and a beautiful view from the balcony. We loved to enjoy fresh morning and evening mountain air while sitting on the balcony. The apartment was quite spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed.

This apartment was beautiful! The thoughtfulness in everything didn’t go unnoticed. The warm lighting, comfortable bed, stunning windows with view, the spaciousness, the easy check in, the homey feel ~ it was perfect. We loved it!
It was close to walk to the ferry and visit Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna, and the streets felt quaint and quiet compared to the busier towns, which was nice to enjoy. We loved the restaurant Il Crotto, and the little grocer Il Buon Gusto!

We felt like a HOME. And host treated as a parents. We loved the Breakfast was variety of flavor profiles and how full and satisfied we felt after eating it. Beautiful place we highly recommend this place. And we have plan to back in summer :)

You can't ask for a better location in terms of being close to train station (50m of tarsealed road so very handy for suitcases on roller wheels getting off the train), maybe 200m from pier for the ferry, two cheap pizza places, bakery and mini-supermarket within 2-300m, lovely view of the lake from master bedroom balcony, stark but clean facilities. Owner/manager was responsive on whatsapp.

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. The place is even more beautiful in person, with a truly astonishing view. Public transport is easily accessible from the location, making commuting a breeze. The apartment was clean and surprisingly more spacious than the photos indicated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel...
Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel and is less busy than the other areas we visited. Many places to swim, including a larger “beach” with bar that serves takeaway drinks to enjoy near the water. Local cafes and restaurants and easy train and ferry access to other parts of the lake. Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other towns around the lake but was a perfect spot for day trips by ferry around the lake - or a quick 10 minute drive up the road to Varenna. There was a good little supermarket in the village - with a friendly lady who spoke English - though the big Iperal supermarket at Mandello was only 10 minutes drive away. There were a number of restaurants in town & we had a great meal at Sottovento which was clearly very popular with the locals.

Lierna is beautiful.
Lierna is beautiful. There isn't much going on - there are a few excellent places to eat, a bar or two and a beautiful beach affording one of the best views on Lake Como - but it is simply stunning, especially in the spring/early summer sunshine, and a few days here can't fail to relax you!

There is a minimarket in the next house. It was convenient to reach the train station and the ferry from the apartment on foot. We really liked Lierna, which is not so touristic but lovely to walk around and convenient to stay and visit other places around Lake Como. Marisa was very caring, picked us up from the train station and took us to a late dinner. She borrowed us an umbrella which helped us a lot. Thank you very much!RamuneLithuania

There is also a lovely restaurant Sottovento with views of the lake. Varenna is an easy 20 minute train from Lierna & Bellagio is 20 mins by ferry. Laura made us a lovely breakfast each morning with prosciutto, juice, pastries & scrambled eggs. The kitchen is equipped for actually preparing dinner, which we did. The Lierna train station is a 10 minute walk, so it is easy to get to Varenna or Lecco. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
