We loved this place after experiencing a less than satisfactory B & B and so a welcoming host and staff on arrival was very much appreciated. Whist the room was a little tired it met all our needs. Breakfast was simple but satisfying - would definitely recommend a stay for anyone visiting Selinunte.

Small and calm village.
Small and calm village. There is one shop and few good restaurants.
We had everything what we needed. But for someone who needs more action could be boring after few days. We visited Palermo, Marsala, Trapani, Erice. It's posible to use public transport for all those trips also with children (we have 3).

Visiting the archaeological park - definitely YES (4-5h), accommodation / stay in Marinella - definitely NO:
- clean beaches are basically only payable, free beaches are dirty, and in the water a very large amount of algae (much better situation and warmer water in the town next door - Triscina).
- watch out for sellers and cashiers trying to deceive the tourist at every step (no prices on goods or a different price on the goods, and a different price at checkout). Only in this town we have encountered fraud attempts on such a scale (both in the grocery store and in the supermarket). Extremely fair service at the bakery.

Thank you Guieseppe for our fantastic holiday. The garden was stunning and the swiming pool perfect! Two shops, one restaurant and great bakery around 100m they have good food and wine. We used public transport. Buses to Castelvetrano drive every other hour. From Castelvetrano ride the train along the coast. I recommend a visit to the archaeological park Selinunte. Very good food and very friendly people make Sicily the perfect place for a holiday with five kids.

The rooms are very nice and are large, with a great shower. Breakfast is wonderful. Vincenzo makes a great cappuccino and the ricotta is the best in all of Italy. If you are going to the Selinunte Archaeological Park, it is right across the road within walking distance. Vincenzo's recommendations for dinner were so good we went back twice. This is our second time staying at Il Tempio Di Hera, and should we return to Selinunte, we'll stay here again!
Fantastic B&B, really delighted to have chosen this lovely place. Secure parking. WiFi was excellent. Lovely comfortable bed and a good shower. Spotlessly clean and a superb swimming pool & solarium to relax in. A perfect place for us to have a lazy day after 10 days of travelling around Sicily. Breakfast was very tasty with delicious homemade cakes and jams. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
nice, pleasant hotel, right by the sea and very close to the archeological site .
Several reviewers on Tripadvisor complained of the air conditioned which concerned me since it was 90F but it worked just fine in our room.
breakfast was fine , the bread and croissant were very fresh
It felt great taking a dip in the ocean after a drive in the crazy heat.
I love everything about the property! Fantastic staff, excellent food, great location, fantastic architecture and decor, rooms could not have been more clean or beautifully designed. Would love to come back,. I give this hotel my highest rating and would recommend it to family and friends.
Excellent location, spacious comfortable room, lovely deck with chairs, secure metal blind. Pretty quiet. Easy and free street parking. Beds were very comfortable! we walked to the ruins, quick and easy! Restaurants and bars, plus beach area, nearby. Very nice host!
Everything was perfect! This is truly a diamond in the rough. Best location to see Silinunte, best service, stay for the dinner, it’s amazing. My accommodation was excellent. Wish I could stay forever.
Breakfast was excellent. The town is largely shut down in November. We had an excellent dinner at Boomerang restaurant. Il Pescatori is very close to the Greek ruins at the archeological park.
Friendly staff.
Very comfortable room with a superb view of Selinunte.
Good breakfast.
We had an excellent dinner at the property - one fish, one meat menu.
Great value for money.
Every detail. The floors shined. The hosts very welcoming. The gardens and pool area were resort quality. The towels, the sheets, all first rate. Breakfast was also excellent.
