Everything was good, without being overpriced and pretentious. A family business, there is very good camaraderie among all staff/owners. They ALL work hard - Alessio drives the show, always on hand to help, smiling constantly, and working in the vegetable garden and elsewhere when not with guests. Inez works her magic in the kitchen, and catered extremely well to the vegan among us. There’s a wonderful pool; the rooms are cleaned meticulously; and sorties into Assisi are 15-20 mins away. This is a gem, and for the sake of Alessio and his family should not be hidden, but they should keep doing what they’re doing. It’s working!

Just a stones throw from Assisi, I could not imagine a better place. Simple, quaint, loving— I felt right at home at this amazing property with these amazing people.
