Federico, the owner was there to meet me with the keys and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and stress free. The apartment is new and well appointed with all necessary services - dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen tools, central heating and up to date TV with Prime subscription. The place was spotlessly clean and modern. Covered, dedicated parking behind electronic gates made for a sense of security, Situated just far enough outside of Tavernelle for a countryside view yet a three minute drive from all facilities.

Everything was perfect. The hotel itself has a lot of character and welcoming environment. The stuff were extremely helpful, they gave us advice for dinner and drinks and details about the town and the area. The room was huge and really comfortable to arrange our stuff. Bathroom amazing -big and clean- heating was appropriate for the temperature outside ( since we arrived in a cold day).
Locanda Della Picca is right outside the historic walls of Città della Pieve. The hotel's terrace offers beautiful views of Val di Chiana and Mount Cetona.

Sara was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the Abbazia. Location was in the countryside which was very relaxing and quiet. However still only 30 minutes away by car from Perugia and Assisi.

Spacious two bedrooms and two bathrooms set in a stunning location. Lovely outdoor space and view. Such friendly and helpful hosts Fabrizio and Veronica. A wonderful central spot to explore lovely parts of Umbria. We even did a day trip to Orvieto. The environment gives a great feeling of peace ! We hope to be back 😀

The hotel is in a very quiet street in Piegaro. It is a very fine building with a grand interior. The bedroom was large with a en-suite shower room. Views over to the hills opposite. There was a cafe/bar 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The swimming pool was a couple of minutes walk away and was a very nice place to relax and cool down after a hot day out and about..
