The restoration of the small building was perfect for our stay. It provided a magnificent view of the snow-covered mountains as a backdrop to the not-yet green vineyards that are the hallmark of Abruzzo. There was instant plentiful hot water in the shower, beautiful bedlinen, plenty of plates and glasses etc, and a lovely touch with exquisite lavender oil made on the premises with a diffuser. The internet was good quality and parking is on the property. We were not expecting any provisions but Jane had left coffee and tea, jam and toasts. And most importantly, a superb bottle of the local red wine. We couldn't recommend Il Melograno more highly and will definitely be back.

Stefania and Domenico are excellent hosts, they are very friendly and make sure you have everything you need. The breakfast is delicious, they made sure we had something different every morning. Our kids loved the toys they provided, playing on the terrace and looking at the chickens running around in the garden. Definitely recommend this place!
