We liked the way the rooms are integrated in a operating agricultural cascina. We liked particularly the quiet. The Sésia river is close in the floodplain forest, apt for a refreshing walk (think of good footgear!). The staff gave us good advice for buying rice in this rice growing area.

The hotel was good and clean and close to train station and old town but a bit of a walk to the port. Rooms not as modern as communal areas and need some updating. Avoid the front rooms over the road as very noisy so we moved.
