We were upgraded to a far bigger suite. There were bikes around the resort that could be picked up and dropped off anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed an early evening cycle around the tarmac paths on the edge of the golf course. Great fish restaurant Amare.

The accommodation is in a large flat in the center of the town, close to the Cathedral, restaurants, and shops, and thanks to new and efficient double glazing is very quiet.
There is no lift, but the ramp of stairs is short with wide steps and a strong banister. I am disabled but had no problems reaching the flat which is on the mezzanine floor.
The owner who met us couldn't have been more helpful. He was a source of useful information.
Our room was big and had comfortable beds. the shower and everything else in the bathroom worked well.
There is also a communal kitchen with a balcony. Everything was spotless, there was a kettle with plenty of teabags, a coffee machine, a big fridge freezer, cleaning products, an iron, and a washing machine.
Everything in the place is new and so clean. I would recommend this place for a family and for a longer stay.

Ribera is not a tourist town but it is close to very attractive places; from the beaches of Secagrande and Eraclea Minoa to the Natural Reserve at the mouth of the river Platani, and further on to the archeological site of the Valle dei Templi close to Agrigento.
I have not seen a bus during my short stay in Ribera, everybody walks or drives a car. No bicycles either.

It's a town with a real local "character" of Sicily with many good places to eat (although some were closed in this period - Oct), laid-back character and good location for making trips.

We stayed in Secca Grande which is not the center of Ribera.
We stayed in Secca Grande which is not the center of Ribera. Secca Grande is a small beach town and certainly charming. The lungomare ("boardwalk") in the evening has some nice activity, and there are some fairly good restaurants within walking distance.
The most beautiful location we stayed in Sicily. Breath-taking views and a short walk to the beach with crystal clear waters. The bench in the garden is positioned in just the right spot to enjoy the sun setting over the horizon. Having the pool all to ourselves was just perfect and swimming in the late evening while looking up at the stars was definitely one of the most memorable experiences from our holiday. Ribera is a short drive away with great wine bars and friendly restaurants serving very good food.
- amazing salt water pool with nice view to olive and wine gardens
- quiet, peaceful location close to Ribera where you can find a lot of authentical restaurants (not the touri stuff)
- very nice and respektful hosts
- great organic wine
- large comfortable rooms with great view
Nice resort especially for golfers. Feels crowded after several amazing boutique hotels we stayed at before this one. Nature is amazing, beach is quite nice, staff is the best on the island. It is very expensive and makes sense only if you play golf.
The whole place is absolutely beautiful. The gardens and surrounding areas are very well maintained.
The food in the restaurants is excellent quality although it is a bit expensive.
Beautiful quiet countryside location surrounded by orange groves, olive trees and multiple other fruits.
Reliable wifi and large outdoor terrace and seatinf area
