Greeted by Rafaele in the evening. Very kind and helpful. He even offered to upgrade us to a slightly larger room as it was available that night. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which was reasonably priced and good. The property is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. If you have a car and prefer staying out of the city center this is ideal.

Villa Volpi has a peaceful hilltop location and a swimming pool with sun terrace offering panoramic views out over the Tuscan countryside. The town of Lucca is a 15-minute drive away.

The owner Marco was a true gentleman. Willing to help in so many ways to make my stay both memorable and comfortable. Room was very clean. Shower and bathroom were very nice. Room was quiet. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was extremely well done!

We traveled at night only to wake up to beautiful views and a delicious breakfast and coffee. The hotel was decorated and had so much charm. I would highly reccomend staying longer that 1 day or night. We didn't want to leave.

Beautiful view and staff was awesome. They offer a private car/driver to take you places and fees were quite fair. Also they sell wine there to have in your room and it's very good and very affordable. They offer a boxed breakfast for $10 which was good.
