Everything in the hotel was nice, the room and the private restroom, the facility, the breakfast. The location is awesome, with parking and easy access.

Quiet and clean. Good location, near the train station, just at the boarder with Switzerland. Nice outdoor surroundings. I haven't tried the spa.
Albergo Bologna is located in Varese's historic center, 5 minutes' walk from the main square. It was once part of a monastery dating back to 1550.

Well located hotel, which is within walking distance from the best shops and restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer, the restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay at the Albergo Bologna.

The location is great and it is nice that there is a parking lot if you get there early enough. Everything is walkable in this zone and this hotel puts you right in the middle of the action, so that is a plus for travelers.

The property is surely impressive, but needs some refurbishing or upkeep. It is a huge and beautiful property that needs to be modernized, but overall it is good value for money. The is in grounds parking, just have to ask for it.
