Vasto is not too big and not too small.
Vasto is not too big and not too small.
A large number of good restaurants.
And not too far for wineries or trabocchi.
After a month of visiting very small old towns in Puglia, we were happy that Vasto had more to offer.

I loved this Hotel!
I loved this Hotel! The staff were helpful on arrival and throughout my stay. The room was comfortable with a balcony and bathroom. The room serviced daily and the breakfast had many choices and was great. Across the road a small church with a rest area, views over the coast and ocean.
A short stroll to the park, a delightful walk by the children's play area and the pond, a small Cafe and fountain, cross the road and you are in the old town. Restaurants, bars, shopping and a history dating back before Greek settlement. I recommend this Hotel for travelers to Vasti.

When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale.
When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale. It is absolutely amazing, just a short drive from Vasto city center. The property is right on the Adriatic, with both a terrace and balcony overlooking beautiful landscaping and with steps down to the shore. The hosts are very welcoming, and, boy, did they put out a spread for breakfast! And, unlike much of Italy, they actually have secured parking for a large vehicle. Highly recommended.

Go for the beaches and nature area!
Go for the beaches and nature area! There’s quite a few paved and off road trails for biking and walking. The natural reserve at Punta Aderci is gorgeous but there’s also several small beaches just north of the historic Centre of Vasto. Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of more well known beach cities, without sacrificing any of the beauty or Italian experience. Definitely recommend renting bikes for a day or two!

Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings.
Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings. The modern fusions with the tradition just in perfectly harmony. People is kind and beaches are to die for.
Hanging around the Piazza makes you feel like a character from Fellini's film, isn't easy to get around Vasto, but believe me when I say the magic from the place worth's to be experienced.

Vasto offers wonderful fine dining experiences that are a must-go places such as Bottega Culinaria, CiboMatto, La spasetta e molti altri. Greatest sea on the east coast of Italy facing Greece, a place to relax and enjoy life to its best.
This resort was by far one of the best resorts my family stayed at in Italy while we were there we stayed at 3 different places and this place was able to get us whatever we wanted at any time they helped us with language barriers made phone calls for us set up transportation 2 and from the hotel and also helped us with booking a charter because I couldn't speak fluid Italian. The staff was beyond helpful always asking us if we needed anything and everything was as what the pictures were showing online and we were over delighted
I rarely vote 10 on each question
The B&B is located in the historic center, but in a quiet location, therefore very silent.
The room is huge, with a huge bathroom (in the shower 2 people, or more if you want to party, can enter easily)
It is clean, comfortable, newly furnished.
The host is nice
The price, I don't know if it depends on whether it's low season or not, but it's very cheap (please don't raise it).
The breakfast is perfect
And Vasto is pretty (a pleasant surprise)
The Palazzo Florio is in a perfect central location, footsteps to local restaurants/eateries.
The rooms are all recently fully renovated by Anita and her husband (Hotel owner's/hosts)
I have never met such a helpful and sincere host as Anita. She is so attentive, caring and genuinely wanting to make your stay a memorable one.
Mattress is very comfortable and the rooms are very well insulated from external noise.
I highly recommend the Palazzo Florio. You will not be disappointed.
Al faro bianco is an amazing bed and breakfast, the room was so clean and comfortable. The staff was so kind, especially the lady who gave us good recommendations and was always attentive and pleasant to our needs. We went with our dog, and they were so nice with him, he really enjoyed his stay there. Whoever has a dog and wants to enjoy their stay in Vasto, I really recommend this place. We hope we will be able to come back some day.
We had an amazing stay at Dolce Casa. The BnB is super clean, the rooms are spacious, and the host, Franco, provided an abundant breakfast. He bought fresh cornetti each morning, and served an assortment of other sweets, yogurt, toast, juices, etc. Franco is such a kind person and genuinely cares about his guests. He went above and beyond to make our stay in Vasto incredible. I cannot recommend this bnb enough!
The room was beautiful, very large with a fabulous shower room and the bed was really comfortable, quiet a/c, everything was perfect. We received a warm welcome and lots of help with restaurant recommendations. Breakfast with gorgeous fresh pastries was a lovely surprise. With safe Parking, this was a brilliant night stop to explore Vastò and incredible value or money. Thank you!
It's an amazing City and this is a lovely hotel to stay in. Very central with a very friendly owner. He really helped us out. I had one of the best bedrooms with excellent air conditioning and a good bath. Lots of lovely friendly touches and an amazing fish restaurant that the owner runs too. Breakfast was perfect with freshly squeezed orange juice. I recommend.
this hotel pays attention to every detail. the interior design is impeccable. breakfast was simple but very good choices. location is perfect, just behind the most scenic view of Vasto and many restaurants around the vicinity. the host is super nice and very accommodating, she frequently messages me and replies to my messages right away
The location is in the middle of vineyards and you do.need a car eventhough not far from Vasto city.
There are a few rooms. Simple but very clean. Sonia our host was very welcoming and helpful. Gave us good restaurants addresses.and other useful tips.
There is a good breakfast. It is very good value for money and off the beaten track
Cleanliness, secure, beachside, breakfast, beach chairs and umbrellas available to carry out to the public beach, walking distance to the marina area. Air conditioning works well.
Owners are very gracious, welcoming and helpful . We were given excellent information about local restaurants.
The breakfast was perfect! The view was absolutely amazing. We have never been to Italy, let alone Vasto and we believe we were in a perfect location! Quick drive down to the beach. Not an easy walk down to the beach, but we did do it once (age 31). Easy walk to Vasto's downtown area.
Fantastic, just fantastic. I can’t fault this apartment at all. We stayed in 7 different locations around Italy, and this property (and town - Vasto is simply wonderful) was by far our favourite. We will definitely stay here again. Best three days of our vacation!
it is right in the center in Vasto, very comfortable and clean. it is the perfect choice to stay very close to the main highlights in Vasto and near to many restaurants and bars. I really liked the property and would highly recommend it
The hotel was immaculately clean, great location within 3mins walk to the centre, lovely clean bed linen, spacious bathroom, added extra of a balcony with bistro set, friendly staff and a good breakfast eaten on outside terrace.
All was perfect and exceptional! Unfortunately the good restaurant was closed due to low season, but that's life!
Do not trust poor reviews of this hotel, it's a very nice one, believe a 48hotel-per-year-traveller like me
Vasto is a very beautiful town and the apartment is in a great location with a lovely sea view. Gianni, the host, was very friendly and helpful and the apartment had all the amenities needed.
