Elegant accommodations in a historic palazzo within walking distance of the castle as well as the Roman archaeological site. The room was spacious and well furnished, a buffet breakfast was provided in a beautiful dining room. This breakfast offered the BEST cappuccino of all the many hotels we’ve stayed in Italy. The parking is right in front of the building. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Lovely staff, helpful and considerate after I tripped on step, and generous with coffee on arrival. Beautiful restaurant, and setting in the vineyard. The dinner and breakfast were one of the best we ate in Italy.

Host Giuseppe Cusano was remarkable, friendly, helpful, cordial and very interested in out comfort. He has invested a great deal of time and energy into making his property welcoming comfortable and convenient. Many little comforts were thoughtfully provided, such as drinks and snacks upon arrival, help with reservations at good local restaurants and tips on what is special to see and do in Venosa and surrounding very interesting area. He could not have been more hospitable or helpful. Excellent communication via Whats App from prearrival with directions through stay. Very thoughtful.

Very interesting place with long history and some important historical artefacts. Cosy, calm old town with many silent streets and very noisy, live night centre near the castle with plenty of bars and full of people.
