From the moment you step through the front gate you know this is a special place. The room is beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable, including the bed. Our very warm welcome included the delicious snacks that are available (my husband is still talking about them). The breakfast was one of the best in our 2-month stay in Italy - great choice, and all quality goods. We stayed in winter, so did not get the chance to take full advantage of the lovely garden and outdoor spaces. We stayed as part of our walk on the via francigena sud; our planned one night stay turned into two then three nights as we ran into a problem. We could not have received better care and support than we did during that time - grazie mille.

The location was great for exploring Puglia and close to Lecce with all its history. The hotel was a very relaxing place with its pool and orchard. Irina, the owner, was very helpful with suggestions of where best to go and to eat as well as daily weather reports
