Hotel Voce del Mare, hotel in Vietri

Offering an outdoor pool and panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno, Hotel Voce del Mare features air-conditioned rooms and a furnished sun terrace.

Amazing view form the balcony, spacious room with all amenities, clean bathroom even if a little dated but in a very good condition. Good continental breakfast, sweet and savoury option to order at your table, everything was fresh and good quality. Very convenient parking near the entrance with plenty of space but we visited during winter time, might not be this easy to park in high season.

Vietri is an ideal staging point for a visit to the Amalfi Coast. Small but big enough to have all the amenities. Good choices of restaurants and cafes. Easy access from transport by train from Naples (nearest airport) or further afield. We travelled from Rome by train into next door Salerno. Great ferry services along the coast are great to use for a lunch or even early dinner and visit to any one of several lovely villages along the coast. Remember all these villages are built on the side of a cliff. Hills and steps are going to be a constant experience! If you like the hills and steps there are great walks in the area which will reward with views like nothing seen before.

Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast.

Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast. Train, bus, ferry to everywhere and you come home to a place thats more like a village than a tourist nightmare. Elevator to your beach. Staff are great. Room was good. We were in an upper room away from the functions and disco which was good. ( we went to the disco and had fun and fitted in as 60 yr olds). Loved the place and didn't have to contend with the rest of the mad over crowding of the rest of the coast. And tyhe parking guys are really cool.

Fantastic location in the Amalfi coast, I recommend it to all travelers in Italy. Food is amazing, people are welcoming, the city center is very picturesque and we enjoyed the beaches with the family and kids.

Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy.

Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy. There are mainly ceramics and some clothing shops. Restaurants are plentiful and very reasonable with the fresh fish dishes excellent. There is also a restaurant which provides Pizza takeaway. Parking is very difficult as is common on the Amalfi coast. If you take a car try and pre-arrange private parking in advance. The beach is ok but quite a long downhill walk so the return journey is tedious. We chose to drive to Maori which is much more accessible and a better beach.

This is a wonderful and amazing little getaway nestled into the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean and the beach below. HIlaria, the hostess is wonderful and helped us arrange tours, recommended restaurants and provided us with a driver for trips around town. The rooms are large and airy and the bed is SO comfy. There is a full kitchen should you feel the need to cook. The breakfast buffet is huge with many different options and choices, but the breads and local cheeses and meats were exceptional. The stairs are steep but there are not nearly as many of them as at other places and the restaurant, Acqua Marina, right at the bottom of the stairs is one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever eaten in (and I'm a Chef). We've only been home a month and we're already talking about going back next year.

    The hotel stay was mediocre.

The hotel stay was mediocre. I highly recommend renting a car. The hotel does not have a shuttle service. We had to take a bus to the hotel once we figured out the system as well as asking locals. That was the worst part. Once we got to the hotel we realized due to its location and proximity in relation to things to do, we were going to have a hard time getting around. Taxis got to be expensive taking them back and forth. The hotel staff was nice for the most part with the exception of one member. She seemed upset there was a language barrier. Overall, the hotel was ok for the cost. I wouldn't stay again, however.

Very convenient for local salumeria shops , restaurants and the ferry to Amalfi coast . Outdoor balcony with table and two chairs was most welcome to enjoy early morning coffee or late afternoon drinks . Free mini bus connects upper & lower parts of Vietri sul mare . Alessio was very attentive to our needs & communicated quickly . California Beach club within a few metres of the apartment was a lovely place to relax on the beach and swim .

Lovely modern very clean room. We were given a free upgrade on arrival. The staff had exceptional customer service. Location was nice as it wasn’t far from the ferry terminal so you could access other places on the Amalfi coast via the ferry. the hotel runs complimentary shuttles to the ferry terminal. Has two great restaurants on site which meant you didn’t have to leave the resort if you didn’t feel like it.

Our apartment was amazing, it had an outside shower and beautiful views to the mountains and the sea. We did not have a car, which is hard but not impossible to visit the area. The centre of Vietri is just 15min by foot, and there's a bus stop nearby to go to Vietri's train station and to the main towns of the Amalfi Coast. Babu was super helpful and kind! I totally recommend this quiet and amazing place!

Pretty much everything! This place is incredible value, the rooms are incredible and there’s only four of them, it feels like an airbnb crossed with a 5 star hotel. The view from the room is killer and the included breakfast is really good as well. The service here is TOP NOTCH. Giovanni & his wife, Sanjit & Alexandra are super accommodating and seem to care deeply that their guests enjoy themselves.

L'antico Giardino is an amazing little b&b place quite near the Vietri sur Mare train station. We stayed there just for two nights for a wedding in Raito, but Alfonso went above and beyond even the wildest expectations - he bent over backwards to make us feel welcome, taken care of, and able to get around. We couldn't recommend this place more highly and we would love to stay here again!

When thinking about La finestra sul mare the first thing which comes to my mind - sweet smell of gardenia when opening the window. The second thing - beautifull tiles in bathroom, this was really the most beautifull bathroom during our trip to Amalfi coast. The host was very kind although we arrived very late and apartments was very spacious.

We really loved the fact that we could hike to Vietri sul mare and Salerno. The view is beautiful everywhere you look! There are a lot of animals there (cows, goats, chickens, a cat) so if you love animals, its a little paradise! The host was very helpfull and made us feel at home. We really loved our time there !

Vietri is a hiden jam in the Amalfi coast, we really enjoyed this town, better than Amalfi or Positano. The hotel is very close to the beach, a litlle bit far from the historical center, but still a walking distance. Vietri beach is a sandy beach, unlike others from Amalfi Coast.
