Everything was great, but one thing - I had to argue about changing the towels, additional shampoos, bath foams, and toilet paper! The linen was never changed (for the whole stay of 5 nights). It was a very disappointing argument for me.
Location in a panoramic position 10 minutes' walk from Portoferraio centre, Villa Ombrosa has a private beach you can use for free. The terrace offers great sea views.

The staff was extremely understanding. It seemed that the ferry was not leaving at the specified time, so they extended our reservation. When it turned out that it still works, we were able to leave without compensation.

It was close to the beach ( I use the term “beach” loosely here, it has sea water and sun lounges but the stuff that is the sand replacement was more akin to rough tree mulch and rocks and about the same colour), but it is still in walking distance. the nearest town ( bit of a hike on the coastal trail) and a number of reasonably priced eateries.

They have a big parking place for all the guests.
The hotel has an own restaurant which is occupied pretty well every night. Food was nice.
Pilade is doing their own Elban olive oil 🫒🛢️which you can buy at the reception 👍
