This hotel is situated on thermal springs, which feed several pools, both indoor and outdoor. These springs were the main reason we visited, as the hotel is otherwise in a remote location. Unfortunately, the springs were the only highlight of our stay. The room was mediocre. No real problems, but it wasn't modern or well-designed, which might be acceptable for a short business trip on a budget, but it's completely inadequate for a destination where people come specifically to relax and enjoy themselves. Parking is free and numerous. Pools are included in the price. However, they require swimming cap and unless you have it with you -- you'll have to buy it (as well as towels, bath robes and slippers). A small rip-off.

The B&B is run by a lovely German couple, during our stay they were always super nice and friendly and gave us recommendations on which towns and beaches to visit, what foods to try etc. They were always ready for a nice chat. Every morning we could eat a typical, fresh Italian breakfast, with slightly different options every day with many local products and some home-made buns and cakes. The whole facility was extremely clean and super cosy. On our first day we arrived really late because of a delayed flight but they still waited for us to welcome us and let us in.

Everything was amazing, the flat, the breakfast, the bed, the balcony, … and Tamara was a so nice host! She and her family were so kind and made sure we had everything we needed for a nice stay. Sardarra is a nice village, very typical and well connected to Cagliari and all the paradisiac beaches of west Sardinia. Highly recommended!
