The room was spacious, the view would have been great (Mt. Fuji) but it was cloudy when we stayed. It's right near the train station so super convenient and we loved the massage chair in the room.

The hotel is quiet, intimate, and in a nice residential neighborhood. Woke up early to perfect weather and strolled along the coast. Meals served in the fabulous Meiji-era tea house with attentive service

A little jewel right between Mt Fuji and the pacific.
A little jewel right between Mt Fuji and the pacific. Still quite popular with fans of a certain anime, but I would argue that the town is a lot better than that. Friendly people, cosy neighbourhoods, lively market streets, and a beach that is not only the longest in Japan, but perhaps also the most beautiful. In one view, you can see the pacific, the Japanese alps and Mt Fuji. Add a sunset over the mountains, and you have the view of a lifetime (see photo of a decent example). You can get the train to Numazu, or the Shinkansen to nearby Mishima, and from Numazu you are 1h to Mt Fuji or any of the five lakes, or 30 mins to the onsens of Izu.

We stopped by Numazu to check out the Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium. It was pretty interesting, and there seemed to be a lot of nearby fish markets/seafood stores. There was also a lot of "Love Live! Sunshine" stuff in general around the area, so good for fans of the series.

The views of Mount Fuji were unbeatable, however, it is a track if you are coming from Tokyo city, just plan well and make sure you work out the different connections. Also if you are coming from Tokyo city and stopping at Mishima, do allocate a bit of time there as there is loads to see, do and eat at Mishima.
Once you get to Numazu, if you are like us seeking just relaxation, you probably just end up staying at your Onsen.
Almost everything was perfect. I couldn't find anything to complain about.
Location was 3 minutes walk from Numazu JR Station. Supermarkets, convenience stores, and a shopping mall were right nearby.
The staff didn't speak English but were very cheerful, friendly and efficient.
The room was a classic business hotel-style room. Private room with bed, private bath with amenities, TV, ref and electric kettle. Everything a solo traveler needs !
And the price was so reasonable.
We have booked two nights in Numazu, because it was cheap and it was easier to do one day trip from here (Kawaguchiko, Kawazu waterfalls, Hakone). It has a 24/7 reception, which was very important to us as we arrived little bit after midnight. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the anemities are excellent. Coffee for free available at the reception, there was also a shelf with hygiene stuff (hair rubber bands, shavers, hairbrushes, ear picks etc). There is a possibility of brekfast.
Location is about 7-10 minutes on foot from the train station; the staff were helpful and pleasant; the (included) breakfast was very good and substantial; the window in the room opened - that's great to find in a Japanese hotel; I had asked for a room on a high floor with some kind of view (Mt Fuji!!) and I got it...
If you travel Japan by car, then you should definitely stay at this hotel. it’s located near Numazu Interchange(IC) thus easily accessible. The double decker bed was a bit thin if you consider to stay there 3 persons in one room but it was okay. Other than that, anything else was great.
The hotel was clean and the interior was cute. The breakfast was outstanding. They mentioned about the amenities where to find I checked in. Very quiet. The location is good. It is less than a minute from the station. You will never miss it and so convenient on rainy days.
The breakfast itself was good.
The tea coffee machine was a mystery to me and it seemed to be to most others including restaurant staff. I fear previous comment could sound somewhat frivolous. In summary I would be most happy stay at this hotel again. Thank you.
A beautiful near new hotel with large modern rooms. The lobby was very stylish. Kind and considerate staff. Nice bathroom with plenty of free amenities if needed. A large king size bed, which is rare in Japan. Very close to the Numazu JR station (north side).
Very kind staff. Good breakfast. Close to train station where you can travel to Mt. Fuji for both sides. 20 minutes by walk to port. Close to hotel is lot of sushi and japanese restaurants.
eventhough the room size is as small as other hotels in Japan, but the bed size and TV size has exceeded my expectation. plus point - a small working table next to the bed is very useful.
Ideally located on Heda port, very modern hotel with a nice vibe.
Staff is very helpful they can help you with booking cruises or renting fishing rot.
Breakfast is good.
it is very simple and modern hotel which is often seen as the B&B hotel in Europe. the room is very silent and cosy accommodation.
I could have good stay.
It was right outside the train station, it was a great size room and comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was also very good and the view was wonderful
The hotel was up in the hill. The road came down to the bay wasn't a road for pedestrians. The hotel was kind and drove us up and down the hill everyday.
