Lovely service and staff. The meals were all delicious and a lot of care taken into accommodating one of our member's complicated dietary restrictions. The shuttle bus is great, if you stay for more than one night you can take it to one of the nearby train stations to visit other nearby towns + rural attractions. Onsen was beautiful, you can smell the sulfur in the natural hot spring water.

Wow! It was fantastic. The staff were lovely. We got to choose from a variety of patterns of yakata (robes) which was really special. The room (with an ensuite toilet and sink!) was massive. We were provided with 5 futons so we could pile them on top of each other, great for westerners used to softer beds. This made it comfortable. The homemade tiramisu we ordered on arrival was so tasty. The cup challenge for free juice was fun. And best of all, the private onsen experience! We booked 2 time slots (as it was quiet), one in the stone bath and one in the wooden bath. We loved both, but the stone bath was nicest.
