I still do not know what to think of Bishkek. It is a city of mixed feelings. Reminiscence of USSR basically everywhere. Huge boulevards in city center and just few blocks away practically village feeling. It is definitely worth visit when in Kyrgyzstan.

We really enjoyed our trip to Kyrgyzstan.
We really enjoyed our trip to Kyrgyzstan.
Not only Bishkek but other wonderful places we've been.
Kok Moinok canyon, Chong Kemin village, Chunkurchak valley, Burana Tower, and Ala Archa National Natural Park.
These country is full of wonders and beautiful landscape.
Thanks to our friendly and fun tour guide Oskar.

The country has a lot of opportunities for tourists.
The country has a lot of opportunities for tourists. But need to improve with lot of facilities. What I noticed is lack of taxi service. Taxis have no uniformity; as such, a tourist cannot identify a taxi from a private car. There were no signs of a 'taxi' being provided. The taxi drivers we travelled with do not speak English, which made us very uncomfortable, but we used Google Translate to communicate. Need more supermarkets.
Bishkek is beautiful, very clean and the people are very friendly.

One of the best destinations where you can find great nature...
One of the best destinations where you can find great nature, mountains, waterfalls, and hiking within an hour from the city center, if not less.
If you have a few hours, you must visit the Ala-Archa Gorge, if you have a whole day but do not want to go far and physically not very prepared, then in Alamedin Gorge, there you can walk to the waterfall, an easy route, not hurrying for four hours in two directions.
It is obligatory to visit Diar cafe (Lebedinovka village), and it is in the express cafe where locals eat - one of the most delicious Lagman (as soup) in the city.
as well as Turkish cafe Duet (Kievskaya street) - Adana kebab, tombik doner or lentil soup.
Taxi around the city are not expensive, but you can get into serious traffic jams in rush hours.

A safe and interesting city in a beautiful country.
A safe and interesting city in a beautiful country. Plenty to do both during the day and at night. The fact that drivers are starting to respect pedestrians makes it safer than some other Central Asian states.

Bishkek is a wonderful city that makes you feel like you're...
Bishkek is a wonderful city that makes you feel like you're still living and walking through the old streets of Soviet times. I went for 3 days while studying abroad in Kazakhstan in order to see the region and I was blown away by the history and culture.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Bishkek! The house was spotlessly clean and fully equipped, including a spacious kitchen where we could cook. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. With amenities like a washing machine and fridge readily available, our group of six had a comfortable and convenient stay. Plus, the location is near shopping centers for souvenir hunting; just a quick ride via Yandex. And to top it off, the presence of a security guard made us feel even more secure. Highly recommend! Plus there is elevator
The Nomad Inn is probably the accommodation with the best value for money in Bishkek. The room was large, almost too large, maybe it wasn't very luxurious but there were two comfortable beds and everything one could need, like a kettle, coffee cups, wardrobes with hangers, a hot shower, free WiFi, and the staff is very kind, so you feel welcomed. The room rate is what I wished more hotels would offer, finally I had found a hotel with acceptable prices. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in Bishkek next time
The property is well located, safe and clean. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The hotel can provide transfers to local sites, offer tours and a rental car. They have a lot of breakfast options and it’s some of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. The place really went the extra mile when it came to customer service and we highly recommend it to anyone staying in Bishkek. The owner knows a lot about what to see and do in Kyrgyzstan so don’t shy away from asking him.
Stylish, comfortable spotlessly clean rooms, good breakfast in lovely bar / sitting area. The common sitting area is also a perfect place to relax in the evening or between trips out ... rather than having to stay in our room. Overall style of the hotel is lovely. Staff very helpful. Nice cafe directly opposite. Good location not far to walk to centre. Would definitely stay again if returning to Bishkek.
Salut Hotel is now my go-to hotel in Bishkek.
The staff was super friendly and spoke English which was a nice surprise.
The free made-to-order breakfast was pretty cool.
This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem for travelers. It's only a few blocks from the main downtown mall in Bishkek, yet it's out of the way enough to not make you stand out. I would recommend this hotel to the experienced traveler.
Great location, friendly staff, spacious and clean room, and very comfortable beds (which has not always been the case with other hotels of this price range - and more expensive places - in Kyrgyzstan). There is a small section of street parking in front of the hotel, however we never had a problem finding a spot there in the evening. For the price range, really great hotel.
Very nice clean European chain hotel in Bishkek. You can be sure you will find the same good level of service everywhere in the world. Rooms are nice, good AC system, brand new gym class and nice spa area with pool and sauna. Good breakfast with nice local specialties touch like white honey, horse meat, sweets, etc.
Staff is really nice and helpful.
The Bishkek Centrum is a very good value hotel, at least off-season which is when we stayed there. it's centrally located, right across the street from one of the biggest malls in Bishkek. There are also a number of good restaurants within easy reach of the hotel.
Breakfast and location. Mokki restaurant is in the same building and it is a fantastic place to have dinner, one of the best in Bishkek in my opinion: very nice staff and great food. Reasonable prices.
by far the best hotel we have checked in bishkek
best staff . very helpful and always welcoming
very nice location for families (lots of parks near by)
beautiful outside sitting area
This is a newly opened hotel in Bishkek. The facilities were amazing and the hotel was clean and adhered to Covid 19 protocols.
The hospital staff were very helpful as well.
Amazing staff, amazing breakfast. Very clean hotel. So cosy and peaceful. Bishkek is an amazing city. They have also given me a birthday present. I felt so special.
Second time here, and I dare say that this is the best you can find in the city.
The hotel staff is really professional. It's a perfect stay for foreigners
