The beach is nice but the waves have a strong pull. The dining areas and shaded areas are nice.
The rooms are adequate but like many hotel rooms in Sri Lanka lack clothes storage.
Featuring private beach-front, bungalow-styled accommodation surrounded by acres of coconut plantation. The property has two private air-conditioned villas.

Amazing food & they went out of their way with a v late breakfast after a dolphin trip & an excellent packed breakfast for a 5am start the following day. Original tweaks, like using shells for taps!

Absolutely stunning property with the most incredible architecture with exceptional eye for detail. Beautifully maintained, extremely clean and very welcoming which is a credit to the villa staff who work hard to keep it that way. Even more outstanding was the way the staff inside the villa who made us feel like family - always an exceptional high standard of service delivered with a smile. The meals they provided for us were out of this world and every foodie’s dream. Every meal was fresh and delicious and nothing was too much for the local lady who cooked it for us. A total gem! The pool is inviting for everyone - swimmers and kids alike as it is deep enough to swim but also shallow enough to stand (for kids +6yrs). The large, beautiful garden is full of palm trees to the back and short grass to the front which is a great playground also. We would be very happy to come back in the future for a relaxing beach break, away from busy tourist resorts!
With garden views, Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya is set in Kalpitiya and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free...

The villa is beautiful as is the beach.
The villa is beautiful as is the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable as are ample sitting areas. The sun beds could do with some upgrading.
The cook could do with some training in creating a more varied menu. We could easily have stayed longer if the food had been of a higher quality.
The next door properties were very friendly and with lovely pools which we were invited to use. The sea felt very safe, with no currents at all when we were there.
We stayed only one day at Omeesha beach hotel and we really much enjoyed it. Management did their best to satisfy all needs of the guests. Great location near the beach, good place to view sunset. We had an excellent lunch and breakfast there. The place was very peaceful. You feel like you have the entire beach just for you. Nights were cool and the day we were there the temperature was very nice.
The hotel is absolutely remote - in the middle of nowhere! But that makes it very nice. During the night for beautiful stargazing and during daytime for trips to the beach and the surrounding dunes. I have received a free upgrade to a fantastic deluxe room - freshly renovated and clean. The breakfast was also very nice. I would really recommend the Dune Towers for a quiet trip at Puttalam Lagoon.
Good sized cabana just behind the beach.
Restaurant on the beach serving very good breakfast and a wide range of excellent food for lunch or evening meals.
Very nice, cheerful and helpful staff.
Pool available at sister hotel 10 minutes walk away.
Private dolphin watching organised by the hotel staff, straight off the hotel beach.
This is an interesting hotel because of its fancy architecture and design surrounded by sandy dunes in the middle of nowhere. It gives you a sense of serenity and calm. You can enjoy the picturesque sunset from the roof. The food was very good and the staff were very nice. The hotel owners keep their place clean and charming.
We were attracted to this hotel because of it's remote location. We enjoyed a lovely long walk along the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. The food here was fantastic and the manager did all he could to make our stay a good one.
..Great location...staff very friendly and attentive...restaurant location was fabulous and food amazing....accommodation comfortable and clean...great showers!!..
Will definately recommend this hotel. Many thanks!
