It's a great backpackers place with a pool. The food and service was very good and it's very near the historic site of the ancient city. We stayed there with kids, they loved the pool and we had a large room and we had a wonderful stay.

Nature friendly awesome stay in Sri Lanka, Food was Very tasty, large breakfast. View of rice fields is very calm, mind relaxing. Staf & host is very friendly, understandable. They were organize superb wild safari, Cycling Tour & Cookery demonstration for us. this was best last minute booking i ever made . The place was super clean and Spaciouse;my entire family loved the place. We stayed for two nights . The propaty is under construction i feel it has very bright future and guest gonna love the place with the future change .

We most liked that the owner is so passionate about his resort. He loved to show us around in his beautifull garden and everything in the resort is thought of and well functioning. The sister of the owner is an excellent cook and she makes a great Sri Lankan breakfast. Each day a bit different but always delicious and plentifull. Same holds for the optional dinner. Owner also has good deals and friendly and knowledgeable friends for excursions to the temples and Sigiriya and safari. We left to see other places but actually we didn't want to leave this little paradise.

We booked a room with a view that looked over the lake and mountains, it was stunning and would really recommend getting a room with a view if you are booking here. We used the free bikes available to explore the local area and cycled round the lake whilst the sun set. The pool was clean and refreshing. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were good. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was really big and the air con was great and stayed on even when you weren't in the room so when you came back it was cold.
