The perfect place to begin a family holiday - excellent staff, large tranquil safe surroundings. Huge shared pool and smaller shaded pool were a big hit with our children. The food at the in-house restaurant was exceptional and reasonably priced. The large gardens make this a wonderfully restful quiet place to stay, we loved it. Beautiful original features of the Dutch governor's house have been retained - there's also an on-site spa.

This is my 3rd time of visiting this hotel. Actually its hard to find a Eco hotel like this in Habaraduwa town area. After enter from the hotel gate, 1st met a beautiful pond with many fishes and turtles.Again there is a another natural pond which design with eco friendly concept.There in the herbal garden.That pond includes, flowers also ( Olu, Nelum, Manel ) Then you can see more than 25 villas, which like stiuated in small jungle. Hotel includes 2 big pools with very clean water and privacy is 100%. When you go to the pool, you feel like you are at the centre of small jungle. There are various types of villas for different prices. Many new buildings.Wifi is superb.Staff works perfectly.Owner very friendly and helpful.Breakfast also delicious. When we getup at the morning, sounds of birds and fresh air refresh our soul. I saw many guests doing there yoga exercises and meditations, one guest doing his meditation in the pool also.Because this environment is the most suitable for that also. Value for money is 100%. Highly recommended Nirmala Villa Hotel for anyone.

The hotel is in a good location, handy for the shops and Lighthouse beach. I had booked a superior double, but found it a bit small. For an extre 20USD per night, I upgraded to a family room, which was so much better. It was no problem to change rooms. The breakfast was delicious. Sanjaya was very attentive and helpful.

We loved our room and the staff. My girlfriend has a peanut allergy and the staff ensured we were comfortable. If that wasn’t enough the setting is stunning and you are a 10 mins walk from the Unawatuna beach. Couldn’t recommend enough to stay here
