The location was great, right by the beach and also close to main street with shopping possibilities. There is a lovely shady garden and staff are very helpful to give you a bed wherever you want it!

If you want to escape from everyday routines, business challenges and city noise, this place is what you really need!
As the sun dips below the horizon, the symphony of the ocean waves crashing onto the shore serenades your evening, accompanied only by the moon's gentle glow - a scene straight from a dream. Every room in the hotel offers a breathtaking ocean view, ensuring a tranquil and picturesque stay. The hosts, Dammika and Angelika, extend a warm welcome, treating you not just as guests but as cherished friends, making your stay feel like a home away from home. Sri Lanka, a stunning country, offers an array of activities to suit every taste - from excursions to waterfalls, visits to the Golden Temple of the Tooth Buddha, tea plantations, the Dutch fort of Galle, safaris, to the delightful experience of bathing elephants. Yet, for those seeking tranquility and peace, the cozy hotel grounds provide the perfect sanctuary, just a mere 100 meters from the ocean. Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation - it's no wonder we've returned for our second year in a row! And we shall come back!

The best point is the location, which combines proximity to Colombo, with roughly 1.5 to 2 hour drive to the airport, with a fantastic clean beach location. Day trips to the likes of Bentota (for river cruise, water sports etc), or to Galle are feasible too. Wadduwa is also a proper town in its own right, with banks, shops, restaurants, pharmacies etc so you can get anything you need.

Wadduwa is good for a quick getaway to the beach.
Wadduwa is good for a quick getaway to the beach. Not as nice and good for sea-swimming as some of the rest of the South West coast of Sri Lanka, but it's good -- since it's so closeby to Colombo. Only about an hour tops from Colombo on either road. There are some nice villas by the beach with pools which is recommended, since the sea may not be safe for swimming where you are.
exceptional stuff, everyone was friendly and English speakers. we had an early check-in and Sidat from the front reception was very helpful and accommodating, we got a villa in front to the beach with a beautiful view. the villa was clean and spacious. the plunge pool was bigger than what we expected.
special thanks to Sadeep who catered to our every need and was very helpful and made our stay pleasant and even more enjoyable
One of the most precious hotels in Sri Lanka. We stayed with our 4yr old son in one of the villas with private pool. The staff is super nice and the food is excellent. The price for food and drinks are higher but this is because of the great quality and service. If you look for a quiet Boutique Hotel with excellent service and high standards this is the right place. Thanks to everyone for making our stay unforgettable
Raj is a great guy and his inn provides a warm and welcoming environment. He is first and foremost committed to the comfort of his guests and will go the extra mile to be sure his guests are happy.
The garden is a lovely little oasis. Raj offers a fresh, delicious, and generous breakfast - Sri Lankan style or western style as guests prefer.
Wadduwa Beach is only a short walk away. Highly recommended.
Lovely secluded villa style hotel right on the lake we stayed to visit the new pearl bay water park near by so that kept us busy. Has a boat ride on bolgoda and used their swimming pool but a bit off the beaten track for things to do but if you want rest and relaxation it’s a lovely serene place. The staff very attentive and food was good
i had a perfect one-night stay at this hotel! The room's cleanliness and value for money were outstanding. The staff struck a great balance between providing privacy and being helpful. The outdoor access to the beach was the perfect place to chill and unwind. Overall, a flawless experience that I highly recommend!
Serendiva is a lovely beach side boutique hotel and we had a really enjoyable short stay. The staff and the service was excellent. The food offered was amazing. The room we stayed was very clean and spacious. We wish we could have extended our stay there. Highly recommended anyone looking for a beach side holiday.
The hotel is located right at the beach, easy access to the ocean. Staff made the stay so wonderful, the different meals every day was quite great. The management was totally in control of staff and was so helpful for Us.
The location is very nice with an amazing view to the beach and sunset.
Friendly staff. Some employees are young, but still professional and courteous. They just need some training and more experience.
