The hotel is located in the city center. The room was small but i had there everything i needed. Quit new LED TV, comfortable bed, a desk with chair to work, and electric kettle. Internet connection was good. The breakfast was tasty (cold and warm dishes prepared on order from the breakfast menu). Big and clean bathroom.

We liked the central pedestrian area and the area around the lake. A ride on the little train was a bonus. The person at the information was friendly and informative. Some nice restaurants around the main square.

I mostly stayed in the central parts of the town as I had to attend lectures at KTU. The lunches were arranged by the conference, so I did not eat out much, but I found a zander fish with white wine sauce at Kranto gatve that was just finger-licking good! I'm one of those weird people who just cannot stand squat toilets. Unfortunately I had to come across a couple in Panevėžys. I hope they will be gone shortly.
