Good place to stay is Hotel Porto if you wish to visit Plunge and Žemaitija National Park. Plunge Manor is a true pearl! It's a beautiful place to walk in the park, admire the grand castle and enjoy the fountain (especially at night!).AAnonymousEstonia - 10Scored 10

Lots of history in this town, including the Orginski palace, inside it's own park, also worth going to. Very close to Plateliai (National Park) Which is well worth a visit or three, fishing, pedal boating, swimming and plenty more. Every single restaurant we ate in whether in Plunge or the surrounding areas on a daily basis, was good quality and at reasonable prices. One of my favourite restaurants was the Banga Hotel on the edge of the Plateliai Lake. Top nosh for a good price. Plunge is not too far from Palanga (approx 30 miles)which has one of the best beaches I've ever been on. Only one downfall, transport is not fantastic, which is why i recommend hiring a car.AAnonymousUnited Kingdom
