The staff was super kind and the property really well decorated. The Kasbah is in a beautiful location and good located if you are visiting Todhra Gorges.

The host and his family were very kind and accommodating. Communication was good, the room was clean, cosy, and the environment was amazing. I got to go on a little walk through the valley guided by the host. The breakfast on the beautiful terrace made my morning, with some coffee, eggs, spreads like amlou and honey, and some moroccan breads. I would really recommend staying here.
Located in the Roses Valley, Kasbah Chems offers B&B accommodation with typical Moroccan architecture.

It was a perfect stay. The kasbah has a wonderful atmosphere and is decorated with much love. The staff is really nice and helpful. We did a lovley hike through the gardens and a breathtaking gorge, which we could organize spontaniously and had Said as perfect guide.
Set in a traditional, Berber building, this B&B is 8 km from El Kelaa M’gouna. Guests can enjoy the views of the surrounding rose valley and mountains from the rooftop terrace.

We loved the communal spaces and the different terraces. There are 3 rooms and as many terraces. The decorations are superb and the rooms quite big and comfortable. Our group ended up staying 2 nights instead of the 1 we had planned. We had dinner twice, and the vegetarian option was amazing ! The owner also took us on a tour to the backcountry to see where the nomads lived. We would recommend the tour and doing it with a guide (it's easy to get lost in our opinion).
Located in the Roses Valley, 6 km from Kalaat M'Gouna, Kasbah ben Ali is a traditional, Moroccan guest house and offers a garden and a rooftop terrace with mountain views.

This place is just superb! Abdil and his family have taken great care in building the house using only traditional materials and building techniques, and the result is outstanding. There are quirky features throughout, and everything is tastefully done.
Abdil is a great host, he let us store our motorbikes inside the garden area and kindly showed us the old Kasbah in the village, which was really interesting.
Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, I would recommend this place 100%
It was a comfortable stay. However breakfast was disappointing. Just bread and jam/honey. No eggs, fruit or yoghurt. Especially as it was Ramadan it would have been nice to serve tourist a bit more so they can get through the day as practically all cafes and restaurants are closed during the day as they should be.
New Construction! All the comforts of a modern hotel done in meticulous Moroccan style. The owners are a lovely couple from Switzerland that poured their heart and soul into making this hotel into a relaxing , comfortable and luxurious retreat for their guests. We spent two glorious nights at Bab El Atlas and could have easily stayed another 5 nights.Breakfast and dinner were delicious. There's a 15th century kasbah 2 minute walk from the hotel that's fun to explore.
This place is a treasure, well worth the travel time to reach it! Spacious, relaxed and peaceful, it is beautifully decorated in traditional style and has stunning mountain views.
Delicious meals are all made from local produce and the staff are super helpful.
Be sure to allow a few days here and take a hike along one of the verdant valleys, or through the majestic Mgouna Gorge. The Kasbah can organise a guide, lunch and anything else that you need
I loved this hotel so much and wish I could have stayed longer! I was warmly welcomed by Mohammad and shown around the hotel. The views of the surrounding areas/old berber houses are breathtaking. There are lounge areas for guests to relax and enjoy the views.
My room was cosy yet comfortable, the decor was lovely and shower had hot water.
The gardens are stunning and within a short walk, the delicate fragrant roses will tantalise your senses.
this was the one of two properties during our tour through Marokko we stayed at where we were greeted by a woman - which I personally found very enjoyable; I wish more hotels would employ women. The view is amazing, the food was good - the room was big enough for 4 people, with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We got a good recommendation for a hike in the rose valley, which was easy to find and very beautiful.

The view from the hotel was breathtaking, the food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. It was a great location to get away from the main city and larger towns. The home made food was one of the best we've had in Morocco! We also went down to the river with our driver and met some locals and picked figs.
Kasbah Itran is located at a hill above the valley with a beautiful view. The place is very special- the rooms are individually decorated with rich details. The staff ist very friendly and the dinner and breakfast are very good and served with great care. A lovely place on the way to The Valley of roses.
I had the best sleep here of the 3 hotels that I stayed within Kalaat Mgouna. The room at the back was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the room was cool + spacious. Everything was perfect for me, except the pillows were very big + hard (but that is my preference).
I would stay again - thank you!
Without a doubt one of our favourite hotels in Morocco. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are huge, the beds are amazing and the location is unbeatable with an amazing view over the Rose Valley. 10/10!
It’s a hidden gem, highly recommended. Photos are accurate. The team running the hotel is great, very nice performance after the dinner. Mustafa was a great host.
