We enjoyed our stay here a lot. For us the biggest plus was the perfect location: we loved Marsaskala and being right near the bay. The view from the balcony was amazing, even if not full view due to the elevated floor, we loved sitting out there in the evening. Also, the bus station is 6-8 minutes walk away, so you can easily reach Valletta from here.
The flat was huge for 3 of us, we had plenty of space - for storage as well or if you want to separate yourself a bit. It was lovely to have a sofa near the balcony, and the small inner terrace was practical for hanging out towels and stuff. It is nice that the flat was equipped with 4 adapters, so we didnt have to buy one. Checking in was super-easy, and it was also a very nice touch that on our departure day we could live the luggage in a closed container until we needed to leave for the airport.

The location of the apartment is lovely. It is just a few steps away from the harbour, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Beautiful area for walking and very close to public transport for sightseeing. Mike was very helpful, prior to us arriving and during our stay. He checks in to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The apartment was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed being on the balcony, enjoying the view. Everyone we met, was friendly and welcoming and everywhere seemed relaxed. We would recommend Mike and his lovely apartment, and feel confident that anyone staying there would have a wonderful holiday.

Charming and relaxed town - so glad we came to stay! TJ Boutique was a perfect, clean, comfortable way to end our visit in Malta and was less than 20 mins from the airport. We were great location to walk to salt flats and St Thomas bays, we swam in the pool at the near by hotel, we walk all along the waterfront and ate great food. Great communication with friendly managers. In room facilities were clean and generous.

Nice place, very good to eat.
Nice place, very good to eat. But Malta in general is nearly full with buildings. So a lot of people, a lot of traffic.
Maltese people in general are quite secluded, even though everybody speaks English quite well. If you strike up a conversation with somebody in the street, you can be sure it's a foreign traveler too.

I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo. I'm so glad I ended the trip in Marsaskala. It's a lot quieter and more comfortable the other places I stayed. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy the harbor, the people and the ambiance of Malta before leaving. And it's also closer to the airport!

We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala was most welcome. A quiet coastal village/small town and off of the main tourist route. Having said that, Valletta is only 20 minutes away and easily reached by bus for 2euros or a Bolt Taxi for about 12 euros. Bolt is superb service and cheaper than white taxis & Uber. We used them quite a bit in our 2 weeks when some buses were full.
Marsaxlokk 10 minutes away is well worth a visit, go on Sunday if you want heaving crowds around the market or any other day if you want to enjoy the fishing village with sme 70 fishing boats in the bay, a few market stalls and a very relaxed feel.
If you do visit on Sunday, avoid the stall selling 'Maltese' small biscuits & cakes right opposite the village square/Costa Coffee. There are lots of online warnings about him, items are unpriced but when you come to pay you will be ripped off eg. 5 euro for a 2" almond cake. He won't give you a refund if you complain.
In Marsaskala, 'Cool Waters' bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced.
Orient Market 3 is a big well stocked supermarket with good prices.

We liked St Thomas Bay - wonderful for swimming (there is a small sandy beach and several rocky spots) and for starting your walks (we walked to the village of Marsaxlokk, through very beautiful labdscapes).
We found some nice restaurants with very tasty food.
The town itself did not look particularly interesting to us, but we only covered a small neighbourhood, so wouldn't know about the rest.

Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals.
Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals. Some boats but not a lot going in and out. It is not close to a sandy beach. There are a few small supermarkets and several restaurants with different price ranges to choose from. The problem is if you wish to travel by car then it is in part of the urban Valetta area and there are very busy roads to navigate to get in and out.
We stayed in the suite with the sea view and the room was absolutely beautiful, lots of natural light with the three windows, stunning view and overall it felt special in the beginning. The Smart TV was great, the location is lovely and close to the center of marsaskala.
The lady who cleaned our room before we arrived was lovely and very smiley, we arrived a little before check-in and she let us into the room regardless, she was the only person who gave us good customer service there.
Great and large apartment with one living room ,one bedroom ,kitchen, and bathroom . Extremly clean and beautiful decorated, it also has a huge terrace from where you can admire a part of Malta. You have all electric appliances needed , in good conditions as some of them looked beand new.Hosts were really nice and helpful ,they even came to pick us up by car as taxi dropped us on a wrong addressed . We really felt at home.
This place is amazing- a peaceful location (though got a bit busy during the day due to local construction works nearby), yet just stone throw from all local pubs, caffees and restaurants located next to the bay (Il-Bajja ta 'Marsaskala) where you can try local cuisine or go for pizza/burger/fish&chips or pasta. Convenience shops are also around 5 minutes walk. Perfect stay for families of 4 (+1 toddler).
The property was neat and clean. We found it comfortable and were able to relax. We had travelled with friends and everyone enjoyed the stay. The kids loved the pool and the beachside view.
Rosanne was helpful as she helped us with the taxi booking to and from hotel and also helped us leave our luggage whilst we went out for a few hours on the last day which was really helpful.
Best location. A lot of beaches around. Very cozy and beautiful town. Get to Slima, Valetta by taxi- 30 minutes, 20 euros, aeroport 15 minutes. Hotel staff helps to book taxi. Also staff is very polite and help always. Very delicious breakfast and pizza in restaurant in hotel. We recommend this hotel and town Marsaskala. The best !
Our room was beautiful, very comfortable and clean. All the power outlets are a big plus. The smart TV to which we could cast from our phones made this TV the most useful I've ever seen in a hotel (although, other guests may control the wrong TV by accident because everybody is in the same network). Check-in was very easy.
Convenience store nearby, close to the center. Very spacious, very clean, large balcony. Host very friendly and super easy to communicate with. Everything you might need. Quiet street and you might even be lucky to find a parking on that street or some parallel ones, which is super rare in Malta.
Great spacious and well equipped apartment. The location is very nice, right next to the bus stop and sandy beach. Marsaskala center with variety of very good restaurants with walking distance from apartment. James is a great host. I fully recommend this place for stay in Malta
Location was perfect for us. 30min bus ride into Valletta every 10 min til late. Marsaskala has everything you need, bakers, pharmacy, mini market, bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all.
Apartment overlooking bay. Swimming within 10 min walk
The people who work there are very friendly and always willing to give advice on anything I needed, ranging from travel tips to food recommendations. The rooms are very clean and the location is great, basically at the heart of Marsaskala.
Everything was perfect in this bright, new, spacious apartment! And it's located near the bay and some excellent restaurants, too. What's not to like? We would definitely stay there the next time we go to Malta!
There was no breakfast the location as you stood on the patio to your left. You can see the sea which was lovely, but in front of you to the left was an old hotel that was redundant, not the greatest view
The hotel was located in a very good postition, few steps from the bus stop, supermarkets, restaurants and 15 mins from the beach. The stuff was very friendly and the room was very clean and well equipped.
Great value! The three of us were walking around Malta and spent a night in charming Maraskala. We made reservations here and sent our luggage ahead. Manager was most accommodating. Room was bright.
A very pleasant stay in this wonderful location. The apartment is special, everything is nice. Management and Reception are professional and customer oriented.I sincerely recommend the hotel!
On arrival I found an envelope stuck with tape to the hotel front door with main door and room key and some instructions, Hotel is next to the beach . Swimming pool was being refurbushed.
It was an exelent experience. Maria is so kind and she is always open to support you. Defenitely i will choose the same place for my next vacantion in Malta.
