Very beautiful reef, great friendly staff, delicious food, interesting excursions. If you want to relax and see the incredible underwater world, this is the perfect place to do it!
I would also like to mention the diving center. Tried diving and liked it so much that I took a full course for basic certification (Skuba Diver).

Shariff, owner of Old Town Inn, is a very nice and helpful person. He served us with an exceptional hospitality. Everything was taken care by him personally. My wife is a vegetarian and Shariff always ensured that vegetarian food is cooked for her. He also accompanied us in Water Activities.Also he arranged bicycle for us. So, If you are going to Gaafaru, I will strongly recommend Old Town Inn.

After reading negative reviews I set my expectations low but as it again turned out those reviewers didn't do their homework before holiday. Eriyadu isn't a fancy maldivian hotel with plenty of high end restaurants and bars nor it is an architecture and design heaven. One word comes to mind ... it's practical. Simple accomodation, simple meals yet tasty, drinks at the bar... Old school resort with basic amenities to let you enjoy the pristine beauty. Decent coral reef around, really nice beaches with almost sandbank in the west. If you are looking for 1000+ night resort then go someplace else. This is the type of the resort where the ratio price/delivery is at the reasonable level. 45 mins by speedboat from airport, close enough to not get exhausted and far enough to be in the middle of nowhere. The staff is young and polite, in most cases very friendly from the first moment. Thanks for memories, I wouldn't hesitate to come back again. And I hope it stays the same with genuine charm.

We followed up our stay at OBLU with a 5-star resort double the price. Found ourselves missing the vibes of OBLU.
Very relaxing chill place, discreet friendly and personal service from staff at all levels. The full board package is good and did not have to worry anything about money.
Had a great sunset fishing experience too.
Good jump off at jetty with shower and lifeguards. Quite a good reef in present days. Cannot access snorkelling through the beach though quite a lot of sharp corals.
