Cabañas El Cielito, hotel in Ipala

Located on a private beach, Cabañas El Cielito offers an outdoor pool, a free Wi-Fi zone and 24-hour reception.

Hidden gem, dare to discover, rent the car and take the drive! Very small and private, must stay that way as it is so peacful and enjoyable, very quiet, no chaos. Individual cabanas, some overlooking the ocean. Great fluffy towels in room! Stunning pool overlooking the ocean. Do not swim in the ocean, it is very dangerous, its called Cabo Corrientes for a reason! Restaurant on site, and taco joint in nearby village, open sometimes... declicious street food. Breakfast is good.

Camino al Mar, hotel in Ipala

Set in Ipala, Camino al Mar offers a shared lounge. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel has family rooms.

The location was steps away from the beach & across the street from a nice restaurant. There was also a shared kitchen so I could make my own coffee in the morning & use the shared refrigerator. The staff were very nice & welcoming & available whenever I had a question. I loved the creative use of driftwood in the room & the furnishings were simple but thoughtfully chosen. Ample outlets & good AC & fan.

Villas del Sol, hotel in Ipala

With sea views, Villas del Sol is located in Ipala and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and year-round outdoor pool.

Our time at Villas Del Sol was a highlight of our vacation. The view is truly breathtaking and the villa was private and comfortable. The hosts, a lovely couple, make every effort to make your stay comfortable (even cutting some fresh aloe vera plant to put on our sunburns :) The breakfast is delicious fueling you for adventures in nearby seafood and swimming paradise Tehua, or for an afternoon at Lover's Beach in Mayto both 5 minute drives away. The sunset was truly spectacular to witness from the Villa and long walks on the 12km beach below were amazing. It truly is a special place to visit and we hope to return to this paradise again someday! There is a bar and dinner menu available at the property and relaxed places to meet the other guests if you like (although relaxing solitude is also possible--which is important for me on vacation). We made friends with another couple and enjoyed talking with the hosts! If you are a nature lover and truly want to get away from it all you won't regret visiting Villas del sol!

I think you have to consider that the last hour of driving Will have to be very cautios, the road is in very bad conditions, never drive at night… other than that is totally worth it… very nice beach. There is a long beach where you can walk and enjoy the sea!
